Jerry was busy himself with the horse at the Stable when he heard Anne scream. He could felt the frighten on her voices and knew that something must goes wrong and rushed to the house to see what happen.
"Anne! What wrong?" he asked urgently when he see Anne crying and sobbing violently.
"It's Matthew! He hurt. Please Jerry please!! go get the doctor! You must hurry!"
No need to be told twice. He took off immediately.
Anne came back to the kitchen and see Marilla is trying to get Matthew up.
"Anne help me take him to the bed" Marilla said her voice is trembling
They help him to his room and put him on the bed. Anne seat next to him while Marilla walked back and forth with worried fill in her face. Anne grabbed Matthew left hand and take it to her cheek. She sobbing loudly as she see Matthew like this.
"Please Matthew, please be alright" Anne whispered. Heartbreaking
