Library

Lola's POV
I was waiting for my brother in the car. My parents were both at work so we could do whatever. Except I had to stay with my brother for safety reasons. I mean seriously! I'm 14. So while I was stuck with my brother we (I) had to go places with him. The 1 place I dreaded the most was the library. Look, I don't mind reading but it's not something I really enjoy. You see neither is my brother. But, his girlfriend just has to work at the library, so that means my brother has to go and see her. I started getting impatient so I started calling for my brother "Jason get your ass in the car!" (btw your brothers name is Jason if you didn't notice lmao 😂) "God, Lola I'm coming! I have to look good for my bae!" I rolled my eyes ugh. I never want to have a boyfriend. "It's just the library I yell!" I then see Jason coming. "Yeah for you it's just the library" I hear Jason say while starting the car as I role my eyes.

We get to the library 15 minuets later. I moan while I walking in. I mean what did I say it's definitely not home. I grab out my phone then took a seat on an empty couch. I go through my instagram. It's what I do when I get bored I have to admit. I then see someone come sit down next to me. I looked over. He looked only a couple years older than me. He said "Hi" and I just waved. He then asked "so, what are you doing?" He questioned "oh well reading books isn't really my thing. But I'll read a picture book (lmao)!" I say. I hear him chuckle. "Oh and by the way my name is Oliver" the boy said cheerfully "oh yeah I'm Lola" I smile and the I continue to look at my phone.

Oliver's POV
I am in the library with my family because apparently I don't go their enough. I get a random book then saw a girl sitting by herself so I chose to go sit down next to her. I said hi and introduced myself. Her name though, Lola,  was just so beautiful. Well just like her. Her smile was gorgeous . Her eyes the most beautiful colour of brown. And just her. I only just met her but her personality seemed wonderful. What am I saying? I just met her. It the came out of know where "want to trade numbers?" I said aloud. She looked at me like she wanted me to say it again.

Lola's POV
Out of know where the boy Oliver asked if we wanted to trade numbers. He said it again "want to trade numbers?" I was shocked. He really did. A boy super cute like him wanted my number! I said "u...um sure!" After we traded numbers. There was then a awkward silence. I then saw my brother give me the sign that we had to go. I got up and grabbed the minimal things I had. "Well I guess I'll see you around then" I let out a sigh. I actually didn't want to go. "Oh yeah well I'll see you around then" Oliver said looking up from his book.

Oliver's POV
Dang Lola had to go. I was pissed that she had to go. The one time I enjoyed coming to the library and well now it's like a hell hole. But I knew I could message her but I wasn't sure how I would bring it up. I took my phone out my pocket but then my mom saw. "Hey no phones!" I hear her whisper yell "but I was just" I got cut off and then my mom just took my phone "I told you today was a device free day until we got home! Now you don't get yours until tomorrow!" My mom hesitated. How was I supposed to talk to Lola now?
