Better Than Coffee Jelly

• THIRD PERSON •

Today was just a normal day for the odd couple. As usual, Nendou continues being the nitwit he is, Teruhashi tries to win over Saiki with her beauty and 'perfect' persona and Yumehara still has a humongous crush on the sweet boy,  Kaidou. 

As they all walk together, they come to a stop infront of a local Cafe Teruhashi recommended. What the rest didn't know is that this was only part of her plan to make Saiki adore her! She's been observing him and learning all of his likes and dislikes, and what she learned was that Saiki has a thing for sweet things.

'Just like me since I'm the perfect girl! But I guess desert will do for now.'  She thinks as she sits down with the rest of the gang in a near by booth.

'Thank you, narrator, but I think I can take it from here.'

Teruhashi might be clever and all, but,  well, she's clever.

I'm Saiki Kusuo,  a psychic  amongst my classmates.  I can perfectly hear the overly narcissistic girl's thoughts and damn she got me.  Sweets are my weakness in this case,  but what she will  fail in is the outcome of me "adoring" her.

Kaidou is the only one that I could adore,  even if I don't show it most of the time.

We both just recently got into a relationship after confessing our feelings for each other in a bathroom stall. Yeah, I know,  weird. However, not much has changed between us. 

Even if we are a couple, at school we have to keep our relationship a secret since I am not a fan of attention. And it's good that Kaidou understands that. That's a major reason why I have developed feelings for this cute nerd.  He is extremely understanding,  especially when I told him about my powers. 

Yes, I told him about my powers. At first,  he was shocked,  like any other human would be,  but then after a while of thinking and processing the situation, he just..  Accepted me.

It felt.. Nice to be accepted.

"Saiki~ I brought you some Coffee Jelly." Teruhashi says with a sweet voice,  putting down the exquisite desert on the table.

My head immediately turned to the Coffee Jelly and the sent of it filled my nostrils in a flash. I grab a spoon from the napkin and dig it in the Jelly. 

Munch.

Delicious. A happy smile slightly appeared on my pale face as I slowly munch on the treat,  savoring the magnificent flavor. 

'Ha! I realed him into my trap! You'll soon be mine Saiki. He will immediately say 'Oh Wow', I just know it!'  Teruhashi mentally celebrates as she watches me enjoy my precious Coffee Jelly. This girl needs some serious help.  Whatever,  let me enjoy my needed dessert.

"Hey, Teruhashi,  you're not gonna get some for us?" Nendou asks while blushing.  That idiot sometimes terrifies me. I can't read his thoughts and I also can't sense him so I have to be very vigilant of my surroundings.

'Why don't  you go die in a ditch, you ogre!'  She bitterly threatens, mentally.

"Oh well, I thought that you guys should pick instead of me being pressumptuos and picking something you guys might not like." She lies,  making her most innocent face.
