RAIN POURED DOWN ON THE EXHAUSTED MAN AS HE CARRIED THE BOXES INTO HIS HOUSE. As much as he didn't want to bring it home, he had no choice. Either it was that or the company, Genesys, puts it down like the others.

As he made his way into the door, Ms. Irena approachs him with a smile.

"Hi, Will. You look exhausted." She stated as Will nodded and sighed.

"Yeah. I am. How is he?" He asked as she sighed sadly.

"He has his good days and bad days. Tdoay not so good." Will sughed loudly before the chimp squeaked in the box.

"Oh! You got a pet."

"No, just a temporary house guest." Ms. Irena nodded before she said her good night and left out. Will sighed before he was engulfed by a bear hug.

"Hey, pumpkin!"

"Hi, Daddy! What's in the box?" His 5 year old daughter, Danielle, asked as she looked at the poked-hole box. Will opened up the box and inside was a baby ape.

Danielle smiled widely as she touched it's soft skin. It cooed as it wrapped it's tiny hands around her index finger. She looked at her dad and smiled before she looked back at it.

"We should tell Grandpa." She said as she ran into the next room and got Charles, her grandfather.

"Grandpa, look what Daddy brought home!" She exclaimed as Charles looked in the box and gasped softly.

"Is he injuried?" Charles asked as he ran his finger along the patch of loss hair on the chimp's chest.

"No, I think that's his birthmark." Will suggested as he left into the kitchen.

"We should name it Caesar after your favorite book, Julius Caesar." Danielle suggested to Charles as he nodded and held the baby chimp in his arms.

"Yeah, don't get to attached guys. He's not staying." Will said as Danielle looked at him with sadness in her eyes.

"What do you mean, Daddy?" Will sighed before he knelt down at her level.

"Listen, sweetie. It's not really mine. It's the company's. I'm only holding onto the ape until Franklin finds it an adaptive home. We're not keeping it." Will said as Danielle lowered her gaze. As much as she loves animals, finding out that they're not keeping the ape hurts Danielle to her core. But she respected her father's wishes and nodded.

"Okay. But for right now, can I name it please?" Will sighed nefore looking at his daughter's puppy dog eyes and gave in.

"Fine. But only temporary."

"Yay! I'm going to name you Caesar!"
