Lumapit ako at umupo. "Thank you!"
May mga staffs na pumasok at sinerve na yung mga pagkain.
"Are we going somewhere tomorrow?" I asked them as I was eating my food. "Kuya Erice said that everyone is free."
"Where do you want to go?" Kuya Ali asked me.
"Anywhere would be fine," I said and drank water.
"Siargao?" Kuya Topher suggested.
I looked at him, confused. "It's in Mindanao," he added.
"That's too far, Topher," sabi ni Kuya Ali. Mindanao. So nasa babang part ng Philippines?
"Hundred Islands?" Kuya Erice suggested too.
"Too far," Kuya Ali said again.
"But it's in Luzon. We're in Luzon," Kuya Erice insisted. Kuya Ali only shook his head at him.
"Last na, Subic. There's this place called Inflatable Island." Napatingin ako kay Kuya Michael na nasa tabi ko. "Subic is only a few hours away. If we take a helicopter or plane, we could travel there in less than an hour."
Sounds like a good idea!
"Would you like to go there, Shay?" Kuya Ali asked me.
"Yeah! That place sounds fun!" I said.
"It's Subic then," he said and we continued on eating.
Natapos na kaming kumain at umuwi agad kami. Natulog na kaming lahat agad kasi maaga daw kaming aalis.
I awoke owing to my alarm and went through my morning routine. I'll be carrying my designer backpack and bring additional clothing.
"Oh, you're up!" Kuya Topher exclaimed when he saw me.
"Morning," I told them and sat beside Kuya Raye. I closed my eyes and rested my head on his shoulder.
"We'll be going in a few minutes," he continued as I nodded.
Maya-maya ay may narinig akong mga footsteps na papalapit. "Morning, Shay!" Bati ni Kuya Erice sa akin. I returned his greeting and felt him take a seat beside me.
"Is everyone here?" I overheard Kuya Michael say. I opened my eyes and turned to face my brothers. Kuya Ali and Lolo are yet to arrive.
"Sabi ni Lolo kagabi kapag late daw siya, we have to go na daw. Susunod na lang siya," Kuya Erice said.
"How about Kuya Ali?" I asked them.
