Preface
You are a 17 year old student who struggles with their academics. After a trio of teachers mysteriously quit, you find their replacements are somewhat lackluster. After a long day of studying for your exams, you decided to stop by the convenience store to pick up a drink before heading home.
"Melon"...."Strawberry". You quietly whisper the flavors of soda options while looking for your favorite flavor, grape. You pick the cooled can up and head towards the magazine rack searching for the latest edition of a magazine you've been following for a while. While searching, your eyes seem to wander, bothering you. You decide to follow them, only to see an idol magazine.
"Ugh, idols," you say in disgust. Ever since you're younger sister became obsessed with them, the word 'idol' is enough to annoy you. Even so, you can't fight the urge to pick it up. You think to yourself, "Maybe it won't be so bad?" You pick the magazine up, carefully not to crease the cover. When your eyes fixate on the cover, a scream surfaces. "No, no, no! T-th-this can't be him, right?!"
"MAITA-SENSEI IS AN IDOL?!"
You decide not to flip through the pages, and buy the magazine on impulse along with your grape soda, and dash home.
You read the interview with Rui, and look at all the other pictures of him. "So this is why he quit? To prance around on a stage wearing span--but that does sound like Maita-Sensei...he was always so..silly? No, just quirky. But I never suspected he would succumb to THIS!" Flipping through the other pages, you discover Yamashita-Sensei and Hazama-Sensei have interviews and pictures as well. You realize that their interviews reveal that the 3 of them are in a unit together, and the pieces finally fall into place: They quit to become idols. You lay down on your bed, calm. But it doesn't last for long.
"IDIOTS!!!!!"
