Today was the day, I move to the great state of Virginia. Woodbridge, Virginia. Moving from Nebraska all the way across the state was harder than you think. Leaving my old Nebraska surrounding, my friends, it's like leaving half my life behind, but New Beginnings are always better. Here's to a better new life in Virginia.

I walked into my bedroom and it was huge. I had the whole attic to myself, the window view was beautiful and so were the wood floors. Everything was so perfect, the bed was in the exact place I would have wanted it, the closet everything. I loved it. I walked downstairs and talked to my mom.

"Hey Mom." I said.

"Hi Shay." She replied.

"My room is beautiful, I love the wood floors, it's so pretty, you should come check it out."

"Is it really? I didn't think it would because it was an attic, I'll check it out later, I still have to get the dining room set up."

"Oh okay, have you met our neighbors yet?"

"No not yet." She said.

"Oh ok." I replied. I grabbed a water bottle from the fridge and I heard the doorbell ring.

"IL GET IT." I screamed. I ran to the door and opened it.

"Hi I'm Matthew Espinosa and I'm you're new neighbor."

"Hi I'm Shay, Shay Michael" I said.

"My mom told me to come over and give you guys this muffin basket, so here you go." He said. I grabbed the muffin basket from him and put it on the table next to me.

"Thank you." I said and smiled.

"You're welcome." He said and just left. I shut the door and walked over to my mom.

"Woah, that was weird." I said.

"Yeah." My mom replied. I grabbed my water bottle and went back into my room. I stared outside of my window and looked at Matthew. He was a bit odd, he had brown hair, brown eyes, tall, had ears piercings, don't get me wrong he's one good looking guy, but there was something up with him. I got off my window sill and went back downstairs.

"Mom." I said.

"Yes Shay."

"When am I going to start going to school?" I asked.

"Tomorrow." She said.

"Seriously?" I said.

"Yep and here's your uniform." She said and handed over my uniform. I walked back to my room and hung up my uniform in my closet. I laid down on my bed and looked at the ceiling. I hate going to a new school, especially when the year is already almost over. Il be the whole outcast of the group. I kept staring at the ceiling and I started to doze off.

The next morning

"OK UP AND AT IT SHAY, FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!" My mom screamed.

"IM UP!" I replied. I went to the bathroom downstairs, brushed my teeth and went back upstairs. I put my uniform on and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I went back downstairs, curled my hair and put make up. I went into the kitchen and ate breakfast.

"Ok mom! I'm leaving now!" I screamed.

"Alright! Have a good day!" she said. I walked out of the house and went into my car. The school was only a few blocks away from me so it wasn't a super long drive. I parked my car in the school lot and walked into the school. I walked to my locker and everyone was staring at me.

"Who is she." One girl whispered.

"She's hot." A guy whispered. I paid attention to my locker and saw who my locker neighbor was.
