Dear Chester, I never knew you when you were alive and I regret that. I wanted to wrap my arms around you and protect you from whoever and whatever was causing you harm. Now I can never do that. Who cares if one more light goes out? Well I do. You were our light at the end of this deep dark tunnel. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. I hope that you're in a better place. We will try and #MakeChesterProud with what we do in life. As you once said when life leaves us blind love keeps us kind. When I first found out about your death I was crushed. It's like my whole world caved in. With time I'm slowly healing. I'll remember the good times and leave out all the rest. Some days I feel like I'm so numb and crawling in my skin. Somedays I ask myself why is everything so heavy? You were an amazing man Chester Charles Bennington. You screamed like a demon and sang like an angel. Rest now brother. May we see you again. 💕💫
