Chapter One//"Im Done!"

Before we begin my names August, my family is from Spain but when we moved to LA we had to change our names for some reason I never understood, before we changed our names mine was Sofia. Anyways I've lived in LA ever since I grade four and I didn't know any English but I had to learn and trust me it was very difficult still to this day I have trouble sometimes. Now that I'm sixteen with my five older brothers life has gotten very difficult in ways I can't explain. Oh I almost forgot, I am only 5.1 ft tall, long curly brown hair, bright blue eyes and my favourite sport is soccer. Now that I've covered the basics let's get into the story.

"August! Get up before mom and dad get angry again!" Spencer begs lifting me out of my bed. Spencer is my twin brother that is older by ten minutes. He's the only one out of my family that truly cares about me, I don't know what'd I would do without him. "What time is it?" I ask snuggling into his safe protective arms "it's almost eight" he says shaking his head "wait what!" I ask jumping out of his arms checking the time, sure shit I'm going to be late if I don't hurry "thanks spence!" I say kissing his check before pushing him out the door. Not wasting anytime I run to the bathroom and pull my curly ass hair into a bun. After I was done I put on some mascara on and run into my closet to find something to wear. I grabbed a loose t-shirt and threw on my jean jacket, I then slipped on my legging and ran out the door. "August hurry!" Spencer yelled from his truck as I finally get out of the house. When we finally get to school we rushed out of the car and ran into the school "thanks for not leaving my tired ass" I say blowing a kiss before running into the classroom. "Ms August glad that you could bless us with your presence this morning" the teacher says rolling her eyes "listen lady, I don't give a fuck" I say with a shrug as I sit down in my seat making the class cheer "whatever just take a seat" she says rolling her eyes making me laugh. A few minutes later a new guy walks in with blond hair and blue eyes making all the girls instantly fall for him except me, I won't let another guy in that only leads to heart breaks. "Why are you late?" The teacher demands "cause I got lost" he says in a duh-tone "whatever now say introduce your self to the class" she says bored "um I'm Jason Waud" he says with a slight smile making the girls cheer, not being apart of it I put my head on my desk and wait for the teacher to start the lesson again. "Ok thank you now go take a seat by... August" she says after a lot of thinking making ever girl sigh and glare at me "August raise your hand!" She shouts at me making me put my hand up for him to see "August sit up RIGHT NOW!" She screams making roll my eyes and slowly sit up "yes grandma" I say with a yawn making the new kid smirk at me the teacher eyes widen from angry but she does nothing but bites her tongue.  "Hey I'm Jason" The new kid says sitting beside me "sup I'm August" I say looking into his blue eyes... wow... wait what no I can't! I thought. "So where are you from?" I say snapping out of it "oh I'm from Washington" he says also snapping out of his glaze that he was in. "Cool..." I say trying not to sound awkward "ya... so how long have you lived here?" He asks "well I was born in Spain and moved here in grade four" I said with a shrug "wow Spain huh?" He says with a smirk "yep" I say with a shrug. "Hey um can I get your number?" He asks a little nervous making me giggle "no... just kidding sure" I say writing my number down on a price a paper and give it to him even though a part of me was screaming "what the fuck are you doing!" "RINGGGGG!" Finally the bell "well I see you around new kid" I say with a smirk and walk out of class

Finally lunch! I thought as my mouth watered as I walked into the cafeteria "soooooo Spence, my favourite brother! Can you pleaseeee buy me lunch!!!!" I ask doing a puppy dog face "fine only cause I love you!" He says grabbing his wallet as we walk to the counter "what do you want?" He asks "can I please have a burger and yam fries!" I ask with a big smile "fineeeee" he says and orders it and orders his meal too "that'll be 28$" the lunch lady says with her hand out, Spence hands the lady money while I grab our food and walk to our table "well didn't take long for the new kids to hang out with Amber and her crew" Spence says rolling his eyes "new kids? I thought there was only one" I ask "nope their twins Jason and Joe" he says "oh" I say quietly "Spencer, August come over here!" Asher my other brother says gaining a slap on the back of the head by Evan. Asher and Evan are a year older then us, Asher is nice to me but only when mom and dad aren't around and Evan well I don't know what I ever did but he's always hated my guts ever since he started high school. "Nahhh we're good thanks though Ash" I say and he just nods sadly but Evan just smiles and gave us the finger "what did I ever do to him?" I demand covering my face "don't worry August! We don't need him we have each other and that's all we need!" He says reassuring me "Spence... you don't get it though he's nice to everyone but me, I'm just holding you back!" I say whisper yell "no your not!" He says hugging me "no Spence I'm done!" I shout standing up and walking over to Evan "what do you want slut?" He says laughing while Asher glares at Evan. "An explanation!" I demand making everyone stare at us "why do you hate me so much! I'm your little sister for fucking sakes and you treat me like shit!" I shout punching him in the face "you bitch!" He shouts "what are you gonna do hit a girl in front of everyone!" I demand making him huff in angry "August enough lets go!" Asher says pulling me into a hug and dragging out of the cafeteria with Spencer running after us "what have you done?" Spence and Asher ask as they start crying "you know what he's gonna do when you get home right?" Ash asks I nod with no emotion "August I'm going to protect you I'm done watching you get hurt" Asher says but I only shake my head "Evan will hate you and so will mom and dad, I can't let you guys get hurt because of me" I whisper "we don't care, right Spence?" Asher asks and Spence nods "at least there's soccer practice tonight" I say with a fake smile and they nod. The rest of the classes went by fast and soon it was time for soccer practice, I ran to my locker and grabbed my soccer bag and went to the girls change room and changed. "Oh here's the stupid bitch that slapped one of the hottest guy in the school" Amber says walking into the change room with her slutty cheer leading outfit on "ya I did punch him so imagine what I'd do to you?" I ask raising an eyebrow "whatever we all know your just in soccer to sleep with all the guys" Amber says "ya I mean look at her, she's the only girl on the team so she probably slept with the coach to get onto the team!" One of her follows said "um actually no I haven't and the reason I'm the only girl on the team is because I worked my ass every day so I could earn my spot!" I said defending myself while I walk out onto the field so I didn't strangle one of those snakes. "August? Your on the team too?" Jason asks me "yup" I say with a smile, a guy that looked like Jason came running up to us "hey Jas who's this?" He asks "oh Joe this is August" Jason says "hey your the girl that punched Evan" Joe says "yup that asswhole for a brother I have" I say clutching my fist "well don't worry you have us now!" They both say making me smile. The rests of the practice we did some drills and ran laps let's just say I shocked Jason and Joe because of my size, but then again I surprise everyone when I play.
