Unexpected Meeting

Lillian's POV

L: "Reneè! Where are my black jeans? I can't find them anywhere."
S: "They're inside the laundry room! "
L: "Oh found em thank you"
Honestly I have no idea what I would do without her. She's like an older sister to me. She's so reliable too and we've been so close ever since her mom started looking after me when I had lost my mom in the accident. I hated remembering anything to do with the accident because it reminds me of my dad. The bastard. I grimaced just at the thought of him.

My phone started ringing and it was Jay.
L: "Hey Jay where are you?  You were supposed to be here like a minute ago."
J: "Sorry your majesty. Your chauffeur is on his way."
I smiled to myself. Jay had always been the sweetest thing ever. He was such a cute little baby brother . Whenever I walk with him anywhere I always catch girls taking a glimpse of him. Lucas and Leon both got their looks from my mom and so did me and Jay. They really were a handsome trio when they were together which is also why I get them to do modelling for me and they always manage to make the clothes they wear look spectacular.

He pulled up at the curb right outside our house. He walked out to open the door for me and pecked my cheek. He seriously is the sweetest thing ever.
L: "You know I could've just took my own car?"
J: "Yeah but I'm goin to your place anyway so what's the point?" 
L: "Thanks"  I smiled at him
J: "Anything for you sis."
After a while we arrived.
J: " We're here. You ready?"
L: "Honestly?.... No." 
J: "Come on Anna, we both know that you got what it takes  to make this deal. Now get your ass out there and show em who's boss."
Wow. That pep talk actually worked.
L: "Thanks Jay." I kiss his cheek and head into the building.
J: "I'll come and pick you up so call me"
L: "OK see you later "

OK Lil's you got this. This was going to be a huge deal for Carter fashions because it's a new partnership that could become a phenomenon across the globe. Clyde Industries is an advanced technological development that has a variety of international branches all over the world. It has a men's fashion line, hotels and casinos and it's very own department for sophisticated technology and hardware.

Man! Now that I'm actually thinking this out loud it's making me even more nervous. OMG what if I screw this up!? Come on Lil's  your can do this! As I was mentally preparing myself for the meeting I didn't realise that I bumped into someone until he actually started yelling really loud. I fell on the floor and my knees were grazed. Oh god they stung like a bitch but I had to deal with it because there wasn't really  much I could do right now.
D: "Watch where you're going woman! "
L: "OMG I'm so sorry I didn't mean to I swear that wasn't on purpose. Are you OK? I didn't hurt you anywhere did I?" 
Oh God I don't think I've ever seen eyes as beautiful yet cold as his before. Wow he literally just walked off without another word.
? : "Excuse me miss are you alright?"
L: "Oh I'm fine"
I couldn't even think straight because this boy is just downright beautiful. His hair looks so soft and the dark brown colour and his natural highlights compliment his deep oak colored eyes. Oh and his mouth is so adorable and small.
? : "Uhh but your knees are bleeding"
The stinging in my knees snapped me out of my daydream that I really would've liked to stay in.
L:"What? Oh crap! Oh  don't worry about it I'll be fine." I tried dismissing the fact that my knees were aching but miserably failed.
? : "Really?" , he asked worriedly examining my  knees.
L: "Yeah totally"
He smiled such a ridiculously cute box smile I swear my heart was melting.
T: "I'm Tyler Sage, that idiot's best friend and secretary. Sorry about his rude behaviour by the way. He's not really like that."
L: "I'm Lillian Carter and that's really hard to believe"
T: "Trust me. Oh! Your Lillian Carter OMG  I'm  such a huge fan of your work. I'm  wearing one of your suits right now."
L: "I could tell."  I smiled at him
L: "It looks good on you"
T: "Really? Thanks"  he smiled a ridiculously cute box smile. OMG   he's so freaking cute.
T: "Oh then that means you're here for that meeting. Do you want to do it right now?" 
L: "Sure"
T: "OK follow me. You want to just sign the papers? "
L: "yeah let's just do that. You just made everything ten times easier for me"
We walked towards an office and the interior was mind blowing. The gray faux fur rug matched the curtains perfectly and the view from the window was beautiful which was something I totally wasn't expecting. Everything screamed class and authenticity, it was amazing.
L: "the interior's beautiful "
T: "yeah Dan decorated it"
L: "wow he's actually got some taste"
He handed me the papers and we both signed.
T: "OK Miss Carter pleasure doing business with you and welcome to the family  "
I flashed a smile at him. He is such a gentleman.
L: "the pleasures all mine and I'm happy to be part of it Mr Sage "
T: "you wanna drop the formalities ?"
L: "well that escalated quickly "
T: "what? you don't want to?  "
L: "of course I do. Just call me Lily"
T: "you can call me Tyler. I have a feeling were gonna be best friends. "
L: "Funny cuz I have the exact same thought. Here's my number so we can stay in touch "
T: " thanks I'll see you later "
L: "OK bye " I waved at him as he walked off. Wow this was going to be a challenge because how in the world am I supposed to deal with Daniel's  kind of attitude? Oh god please help me!
