The life of a strawberry is tough. Berry loves his life. He loves his little berry family too. He really struggles to accept his and his families fate.

My red skin glowed in the sun heating me up as I woke to the fine day. I sat alone watching the sky and clouds pass me by. The sun rising and setting each day nothing new the same old thing. But I love it, and I love my life. I look over to the little flowers sprouting from my and soon to be my siblings life support. The lovely white flowers have been there for a while now. Soon their petals will drop and i will be introduced to my new family. I can't wait to see their little green body's and watch as they grow up. Then i will have some company as i sit in the sun and watch the clouds pass by.
My life is as some people call it boring but i find it interesting. Yes at times it can be boring and I can hate it but i just need to last a little longer and then it will be fun. I will have my siblings. All I can think of though is when i was sprouting and my siblings where with me. The horrible sight as i stayed tucked behind the leaves of my life support. The horrible creature swooping down and eating my family. My new born brothers and siblings. Gone before my eyes. I looked the creature in the eyes. I couldn't do anything, it came and left before picking my siblings of t its own free will.
I will not let that happen to my new family. Not this time, Not again.
The sun was starting to set now. the days seem to go fast while the night is slow and scary. Its petrifying i cant see whats coming, who is coming. something could just come up and eat me and my family in the night. whenever they want. at there own free will. I wouldn't be able to see them coming. Or hear them. Most strawberry's can hear i have noticed some off they others talking to each other. But i cant I seem to be unable to. I try my hardest buts its just impossible. Its ok though, I learnt how to read seeds when i was very young. So whenever another strawberry talks to me I can reply. The other strawberry's call me something called deaf apparently it means that i cant hear but i don't know if they are right or not. I mean yes that would make sense because I can't hear. But i don't know in away I can hear. I mean, I can't hear but I can see the sound waves that people let off and I can feel them. I can feel myself falling asleep now so i guess I'll see if my family is safe in the morning that's if i make it out alive.
Its the next day and the first petal has fallen. Right in front of my eyes it fell and landed right next to me. I'm so proud, MY brother or sister is strong and I can't wait to meet them.
