Prologue I: Shattered Dreams are a Torn Memory

The Two gods looking at a Teen standing in front of the Eight Heavenly Gates. Solaris tells him that he is responsible to reawaken the two gods in fifteen years time. He also tells him that if only one of them are awoken then their unbalanced powers will bring destruction across the world. The Teen Nods his head. Suddenly a voice echoes through the area saying "That Gatekeeper Blade will be mine"

Fifteen Years Later: The World Master watches over a teen named Axel and notices Axel's dream about someone that shares his similar appearance and name. In the dream the "Other Axel" is befriends strange monster type beings and depicts that One raised him like his own son. His name was Helios. The World Master concludes watching the dream and tells his subordinate Sorah that she'll have to Awaken him sooner than expected... Axel wakes up from his dream confused about who he was dreaming about. A girl with dark colored hair named Torah comes into Axel's room and reminds Axel to get dressed because they're going with Zerai into Isailia Plaza. Axel hesitates still thinking about his dream until Torah yells his name in which Axel hurries and puts on his shirt and runs downstairs of the Nexus Mansion. They meet up with Zerai in the main room. Zerai makes a comment about Axel's excessive sleeping. They get into a small argument and Iren, Axel's foster older brother yells Axel's name and throws Axel's Katana at Axel and reminds him to never leave the Estate without it. Axel thanks him as the Three leave for Isailia. As they're leaving random members of the Nexus Estate send them off with a wave. Somewhere else it shows a few people sitting in a lounge room drinking Tea. One notices the minor errors in the world. Another exclaims that one of the eight Divine gates will open soon and that it's time to carry out their plans and all agrees. As the three friends enter the city they split up in the Market plaza. Axel goes over to the Goodie Shop and talks to a long time best friend the Owner Miss Aritza. She accused Axel of cutting up Her shipment boxes because of the sheath that was left behind. He investigates the sword and accuses Xier for framing him. Xier starts talking from behind Axel saying that everyone knows it was him exclaiming that Axel is a troublemaker. Axel draws his Sword. He and Xier begins fighting. This fight beings attention from many people in the town including Zerai and Torah and Xier's gang. Axel neglects Torah and Zerai's offer to help and loses the fight. Axel then offers to pay for the boxes himself. Xier laughs as he walks away. Torah comforts Axel saying it wasn't his fault because Xier had the upper hand. Zerai yells at Xier telling him that it wasn't Axel who vandalized and that if Xier wants to keep on talking about his friend he can answer to Zerai as he summons his Scythe. Xier continues walking and his gang follows. Axel looks back at the broken creates and sees a floating insignia over it with a dark Aura. The three goes back to Nexus where Zerai teases Axel for having "a thing" for Torah. Later on Axel and Zerai agrees to go to Daeora's gate in a few days because Zerai wants to see it for himself. Axel falls to sleep mid-conversation and Torah carries him to his room. Axel wakes up and Torah jokes about his random sleeping habits and then comforts him about what's happen today after which Axel goes back to sleep.
