I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock, BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! Ugh! God, I hate Mondays and wish it was already Friday. I get up and do my normal routine. Take shower, brush my teeth, wash my face, put a bit of makeup on, and put on my clothes. When I finished putting on clothes I normally go downstairs and text my best friend Catherine. Who always seemed to be up before me.

I love Catherine, we have been besties since 1st grade and have stuck by each other ever since. We told each other everything, well not everything. I haven't told her one of my secrets because she wouldn't like it. As I finished texting Catherine, my dad came downstairs to get a cup of coffee.
Dad: Morning honey.
Allison: Morning dad, how did you sleep?
Dad: Pretty good, what about you?

Dad: So I was wondering maybe we could take a trip out to LA and see Catherine.
Allison: Really?!?!
Dad: Yeah! You too haven't seen each other in two years, so why not.
Allison: Yay! When do we leave??
Dad: Tomorrow.
Allison: Okay! I will go ahead and pack.
Dad: Okay, our flight leaves at 12:00 pm tomorrow.
Allison: okay!!!
I can't wait to see her tomorrow. I am going to surprise her. I will text her brother for the address.
