Fell (Book 2)

Introduction

The first words I hear when I wake up are the most unexpected words I could possible ever hear.

"Sweety? Are you awake?"

"Mom?"

"Of course honey."

"But how-"

"I've missed you so much."

"Dad?"

"Why yes."

"But Addison told everybody about you."

"I know she did. But we just missed you so much."

"How are you hear if you guys are dead?"

"We're not here."

Before I can reply doctors walk into the room and I look over to where my mom and dad were stand but there gone. How could they be here then be gone so quickly?

Ch.1
"Good morning Kaitlen!" Says a doctor.
"Did you rest well?" Says another.

"We are excited to be working with you today." Says the girl one.
"Working with me?" I question.

"Well soon we have to prep you for surgery." She says to me.

"Why do I need surgery?" I ask.

"Well, I guess let's get down to it shall we?" She looks around at the other two doctors and nods.

"Well. We took some exrays and it looks like you have some internal bleeding that we have to correct. You have fractured bones in your arm neck and femur. And your brain us currently swelling up bigger and bigger every half minute. We do want to take a few ex-rays and see where you're at now though. Sound okay?"

"Whatever." I scoff.

"Great we'll get back to you when we're  done with your ex-rays."

They walk out if the room and I start hulucinating about my mother and father again.

Ch.2
"Alright Kaitlen-"

"Whoa whoa whoa, so my brain is swelling up? Like it's getting bigger in my head?"

"Yes but-"

"Oh my gosh. I can't deal with anymore!"

"Kaitlen you-"

"Why!" I start crying.

"Kaitlen there is something we need to discuss with you." The doctor says.

"What! What could so much more important than the fact that my brain is getting bigger inside my head?!?!"

"The fact that you have a brain tumor that is swelling as well!" She says with her voice a bit louder"We need to take you into surgery right away, we just need your okay."

"Fine!"

Ch.3
The antibiotics were so strong that I couldn't even remember that conversation. So the next thing I know is I woke up with a familiar face staring back at me.

"Savannah?" I say breathy.

"Sure is." She replys.

I smile a little.

"I couldn't even get to the table before you ran off. What was Addison saying to you?"

"Oh nothing really. I just got tired of dealing with her."

"You're lieing."

"What? No I'm not!"

"It's so obvious. What did she sa-"

"She said I should go kill myself!"

"So you tried too!?!?!"

"Yes. I-"
At that moment, doctors walk into my room.

"How are you feeling Kaitlen?"

"Nauseous." I reply.

"That's ok. Well most if your surgery was successful."

"Most of it?" I question concerned.

"All of it except for the tumor."

"Except for the tumor?" I mumble to myself.

"We plan to scedule another surgery this afternoon. Is that alright?"

"I don't care!" I yell.

"Good." Says the doctor.

Ch.4 Doctor's Perspective
"Scalp blade." I say.

"Scalp bale." A nurse repeats.

"Temp blade." I say.

"Temp blade." A nurse repeats again.

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

"No no no no. Stay with us Kaitlen!"

"What's happening?"

"She bleeding out! Call more doctors! Call more doctors!" I scream.

"What?! What?!" A doctor says coming into the room.

"She's bleeding out! She's bleeding out fast!"

"Okay, gaws!" He says.

Nobody repeats or hands him anything.

"Are you guys daydreaming!?! Somebody hand me some gaws!!!!" He yells.

"Gaws." Someone finally repeats. Only to find that it was me.

"Thank you."

"Even though it's not my job, you're welcome." I say in an unpatient voice looking around the room.

"Clamp." He says.

"Clamp." I repeat.

"There. It's all done now."

"Thank you so much Dr. Hunt."

"You're welcome Dr. Wren." He replys. And we wheeled her off to her room.

Ch.5 Kaitlen's Perspective
When i open up my eyes I hear voices talking. Doctor's voices. I look up and the girl doctor starts talking to me.

"Your surgery was very successful."

"Very?" Savannah replys in a snarky tone.

"Well you did bleed out a little but besides that you did great."

"Okay." I say uninterested. "How much longer do I have to stay here?"

"Not much longer. But you do have another visitor!" Says the doctor. Addison walks into the room with a guilty face. I turn my head ignoring her every move and look out the window.

"Kaitlen-"

"She doesn't want to talk to you Addison!" Savannah interrupts.

"It's ok Savannah. Let her say what she wants to say." I say gently still looking out the window.

"I want to say I'm sorry. The only reason why I was so mean to you is becuase I was jealous of you. You are pretty. Smart. Funny. And just so cool all around and I wanted to be that way too. And that's why I bullied you. And don't be mad at Ren-"

"I don't want to hear ANYTHING about her!" This time I look at her.

"Okay. Sorry." Addison says trying to respect me. "However can you forgive me and be my friend?"

"Under one condition. You have to be Savannah's friend to."

"I don't want to be Addison's friend!" Savannah yells.

"It's the same thing with you. You're exactly like Kaitlen which made me upset and jealous so i pushed you out. I'm sorry Savannah. I promise I will never do it again."

"Ahh it's ok." Savannah replys. We all hug and three weeks later we are walking down the hallway together at school. Savannah, Addison, and me. All friends. All best friends.
