"Hey, careful with that thing!" he scolded. "You could seriously hurt someone with that!"
She looked at him cautiously.
"You're saying that...hurt?"
"More than you think it did!"
A wicked sneer flashed across (y/n)'s features, as she held the tennis ball gun up.
"Then I will keep shooting you with them! Quiver in your boots at the sight of my tennis balls of death!"
Dipper pushed a table down, and then ducked behind it as she started to fire tennis balls at him at a rapid rate, wondering how long it would take for the evil ray to wear off.
Meanwhile, Mabel was still struggling in the net. It appeared that squirming only made the net get more tangled around her body.
The storm continued to rage outside, and droplets were now pounding loudly against the shed doors.
Mabel growled in frustration.
"OH, WOULD YOU SHUT UP SO I CAN ACTUALLY HEAR MY OWN THOUGHTS?" she screamed at the storm.
She took in a sharp inhale, holding her breath until her face turned a bright red color, before finally exhaling. The anger had worn off.
"If only I had something sharp that I could use to cut this dumb net."
She suddenly gasped in realization, as an idea started to form in her quirky mind.
Dipper was still taking cover behind the table as it was getting pounded with tennis balls.
"Okay, Dipper" he said to himself. "This isn't gonna last for long. Gotta think of a new plan. New plan, new plan..."
The thunder roared outside, interrupting his train of thought.
"Ugh! Why does it always have to rain whenever things get intense?"
It was then that he noticed that the pounding of tennis balls against the table had actually stopped. Now was his chance to do something.
Cautiously, he peeked his head over the table.
(y/n) had vanished.
He looked around cautiously, and he had a keen feeling that someone was standing directly behind him.
"I know you're probably behind me right now, (y/n)" said Dipper, as he started to slowly turn around.
"So just attack me already and get it over with!"
"Oh, but what fun would that be?" said (y/n), and Dipper turned around to see that she was actually standing right in front of him, just behind the table. She had been ducking in front of the table when he had looked around the room, underneath his line of vision.
She took out another blaster-like device, and fired, a ray of pure heat melting the table directly down the middle as she started to walk slowly towards him, her eyes filled with the same dark malice that was dripping from her voice.
"You can't beat me, you know" she said with a wicked sneer. "I'm stronger, smarter, more powerful than you are or will ever be."
As she walked closer to him, Dipper took more steps away from her, his face paling a little.
"I can invent anything I can possibly imagine, and with each second, I grow more powerful."
She eventually backed him up into a corner, and she slammed her hand against the wall right beside her brother's head, causing him to tremble a little. He looked down at the floor, unable to look into her dark eyes.
