"Don't forget Peter you have your internship with Mr.Stark after school today."
"I know, I remember," Peter said shoveling cereal into his mouth.
He had woken up and took a shower but had taken too long so he was gonna be late.
This was their normal routine, him and aunt May always had to rush.
"Bye, aunt May! Love you!" Peter shouted already out the door. He heard a faint goodbye and love you as he rushed out.
He had waited a whole two weeks to visit the compound. Usually he visits every weekend but last Friday Tony had called Peter telling him he needed to be at some government meeting, and that he would be gone all weekend.
But it was finally Friday!
He would get to see Tony all weekend. It was going to be great.
Peter had his own room at the Avengers compound so he didn't have to worry about his tooth brush or any clothing.
When he first saw his room he flipped out. Saying that it was too much and that Mr.Stark didn't have to do all this just for him.
All Tony did was put and arm around Peters shoulder and said,
"You deserve this Peter. Your a good kid."
Peter had blushed almost overwhelmingly but smiled,
Then he saw all the Lego sets Tony had stacked on the shelf.
Which really, Tony shouldn't have been surprised at that freak out.
All in all, Peter loved everything.
He just liked hanging out around Tony.
He didn't know what feelings he had for Tony, he definitely didn't like him like that. It was more of a brotherly love, except not that. It was more than that.
Peter just couldn't put his finger on what type of relationship he had with Tony.
Anyway, he met with Ned at the lockers then they headed to their first class meeting up with Mj in the class.
"'Sup losers."
"Hey mj." They both laughed.
They sat in the back and talked until class started.
Each, and every class felt like an hour had gone by for each second, does that even make sense?
You know those days, where you sit and look at the clock while the teacher just drones on and on about something that puts you to sleep?
That was one of these days.
By lunch Peter was almost dead on his feet, and apparently looked like it too
'Thanks, mj.' He thought sarcastically.
He had been Spider-Man almost all night.
It was about three am when the baby monitoring protocol kicked in.
He was almost asleep when he remembered the five page essay due today that he hasn't even started on.
He remembered his teacher saying,
"Class if you want a good grade on this you can't do this last minute."
Yeah well, shows what she knows he got an A- on it.
After school was almost a disaster.
He nearly fell asleep twelve times. Whether on the stage or in his chair.
"Peter I hope I don't see you sleeping again."
Flash snickered.
"N-no Mr.Harrington don't worry. You won't." Peter said a blush on his face.
After the decalothon
He headed out towards the doors.
He saw Happy holding the door open and Tony in the back seat.
"Hey kid." Happy said.
Peter replied with a soft hello then got in the car. Happy shutting the door behind him.
"Hey kid!" Tony gave him a big genuine smile. Not just the facade he uses with the public.
"Hey Mr.Stark." Peter said.
Peter was usually really excited to see Tony, he was just to tired this time.
"How was school?"
"Exhausting." Peter replied, he yawned right after saying that. Tony chuckled.
"It will be awhile before we get to the compound, get some rest."
Peter doesn't know why he did it, he just did.
I laid my head down on Tonys shoulder and closed my eyes.
I felt Tony look down then put an arm around me and tightened his hold.
Then I fell asleep.
When I woke up we were still driving but Mr.Stark was asleep, his head being held up by the window. He had moved so that we were leaning up against the door, both of our legs were stretched out onto the back seat.
My head was against his chest and my arms were around him.
It was nice. He was warm. Comfy.
It wasn't weird as though Peter thought it would have been.
"You know he hasn't slept in almost a week."
Happy whispered.
I looked up to see that we were stuck in traffic and Happy was looking at me through the mirror.
"It does him good to have you around." Happys New York accents heavy in his sentence.
Peter smiled and yawned.
"Go back to sleep kid. We will be home in no time." He said softly
"Thank you Happy."
Happy just smiled.
The usually grumpy stressed out man, actually fit his name for once.
It took about an hour to get to the compound.
It had started raining when they got there.
It had been cloudy all day.
"Looks like a thunderstorms heading our way." Tony had said.
Once they got home, they ordered a pizza and sat on the couch.
All Peter could hear was thunder off in the distance.
Oh god, he hated thunderstorms.
He loved rain, he even like silent lightning if that was even a thing.
Just the though of the loud claps of thunder sounding off in the sky like drums, made his head hurt.
He's in for one hell of a ride.
And so is Mr.Stark.
But he could get through this, Peter would get through this. The thunder was miles away from them.
