"Level up!" An enthusiastic robotic voice yelled.

"Finally," Kozume Kenma sighed. He threw his phone to the other side of his bed in frustration. "That took for-fucking-ever."

He got up and headed to the bathroom. Kenma look at his reflection— blonde hair that matched his eyes and dark roots that matched his soul.

He chucked. If he had one, that is.

Kenma decided to get out for the first time in two days and explore the university.

"Goodbye, Planty," He said in a monotonous voice. "Don't die—or whatever."

Of course, his aloe plant didn't respond, but Kenma likes to think it did.

And with that, he headed outside.

Letting out a content sigh, Kenma enjoyed the view from the bench where he was sitting. Since it was next to the grassy patch where students usually play soccer, Kenma had to be aware of his surroundings. He didn't care though, because this was his favorite spot in the whole school—besides his bed.

Even though he wasn't too big on aesthetics like most people at Nekorodani, Kenma had to admit that the school's courtyard was better than any high quality game graphics he's ever seen.

That was probably the reason why his mom wanted him to go to this school. Kenma would stare at his phone 24/7 at in highschool, so naturally, his mother wanted him to go outside and play with his friends for once.

Although he didn't have many, his friends were the best.

For starters, Lev Haiba: A tall, loudmouthed dimwit who literally doesn't know what's happening at any second. He's also half-Russian and half-Japanese, which is the coolest thing about him. But he doesn't really know any Russian since he was born in raised in Japan, which makes him less cool.

Kenma guesses his carefree, child-like nature drawed him to Lev—but that doesn't mean he doesn't get annoyed by him sometimes.

Next, we have Morisuke Yaku: He was basically the mom of the group, and that meant he was always yelling at Lev. Don't even get Kenma started about whenever Lev would make fun of Yaku's height—whether intentionally or not— because that would make Yaku that scariest person in all of Japan. Despite that, he was a great friend and kept them in check.

Kenma was also convinced that those two liked each other, because of the way they look at and talked about each other. Although he had his suspicions, he never said anything. He guesses it's because wanted it—whatever it was— to happen on its own.

That brings us to our final person, Hinata Shoyo: A man so friendly that he seems not even real. He somehow managed to be Kenna's friend despite his polar opposite personality. They've been friends longer than he can remember, and him and Lev bring positive vibes to our friend group— Three Cats and a Crow (Lev named it).

Although Kenma went to a different college than the rest, they still manage to be the strongest friend group he's ever had.

Kenma's thoughts were interrupted by a sudden pain in the back of his head.

"Ow!" He yelped, falling off the bench due to the impact. "What the hell?"

"Sorry, man! Are you alright?" A deep voice asked, full of concern.
