Paige's POV
Being a demon made life pretty boring. Once you become 18 you stop aging till you find your mate. After you find your mate you age till your 22 then you stop aging all together. I haven't found my mate yet so I'm still look 18. However I am actually 1365 years older than 18. I was currently in the human world so that I can go hunting. I found a group of kids in a garden, I then saw one of the males walk inside the house. Suddenly my brother,Dante, appeared next to me. I gestured for him to go and he ran into the house .
I sniffed the air and suddenly I smelt something that smelt amazing. It was like chocolate and rain and the forrest had all been merged together. It was intoxicating. Dante appeared at my side with the male asleep in his arms.I recognized the male as Dante's mate who had already visited the demon world.
The scent that was intoxicating me suddenly got fainter and Dante pointed towards the house. I saw one of the females had gone upstairs and she was sitting in her room with her headphones on. I used my demon speed to get to her window then slowly crept in. I then stood in the corner of her room,in the darkest shadows, and watched as her face morphed into one of sadness. I then took it as my opportunity to make an appearance.
I stepped from the shadows and she looked up. Her eyes widened as she asked, "Who are you and how did you get in here?". "My name is Paige, first child of the royal demon and family and heir to the demon throne. As for how i got her, i followed you scent then climbed in through the window,"I said bowing slightly as i said my titles. Her mouth hung open and she then asked, "what do you want with me?". I could tell she was scared and it broke my heart to see my mate scared of me. "You don't have to be scared,"i said as i sat down on the edge of her bed, "I'm simply here to take you with me,mate!". I then used my speed to press her pressure point and i felt her go limp. I then picked her up and went back to Dante who was waiting for me. He now had his regular silver eyes and I hoped that mine were back to there normal blue/green. I then used the shadows and formed them into a portal. We stepped through the portal and just like that we were home.
Kurrai's POV
I woke up in a soft bed. I looked around realizing that i was not longer in my room. Then the memories of what happened came back to me. I stood up from the bed and walked over to the window. I saw what seemed to be the edge of a forest in the distance. I also saw a garden off to the left and infront of me and to the right I could see soldiers training and fighting. I then turned around and walked up to one of the three doors. The first one opened up to reveal a closet full of dresses,t-shirts,leggings,jumpers and the odd skirt. I saw another door inside of the wardrobe and opened it to reveal a room of shoes and jewellery. I then left the wardrobe and opened the next door. This one opened up to a bathroom. It has a bathtub, a shower, a sink and a toilet. It also had a tall radiator that had a white and a black towel hung up. I stepped out of the bathroom and shut the door.
I then opened the third and final door. This one led to a hallway and i stepped out. I was in my pajamas from yesterday but luckily i still had my socks on. I slowly crept around the dark hallways until i didn't notice where i was going until i bumped into someone. I fell backwards and looked up to see my big brother James. "Nice to see you finally woke up sis!"he said whilst offering a hand which i gratefully took. "James what are you doing here? Where even are we? Where you kidnapped to?" i asked him. He sighed shaking his head, "I'm here because i want to be, we are in the royal castle and no i wasn't kidnapped,"He said with his usual smile on his face. I took a moment to process this information as i saw a male with black hair and silver eyes approach him.
He walked up and kissed my brother on the cheek whilst i just stood there with my mouth wide open. "Sis shut your mouth you'll catch flies,"teased James. "Hey James who is this," said the male gesturing to me. "Oh! This is my little sister Kurrai. Dante meet Kurrai. Kurrai meet my boyfriend Dante,"James said. "Ah,so your the one my sister brought back,"said Dante. James looked at Dante puzzled, "Why did your sister bring her back?" he asked. "Same reason i brought you here James,"he replied. I was shocked, James's boyfriend's sister kidnapped me. "Well first off i think we should get you changed Kurrai,"said James as he gestured to my Pajamas, "Dante, do you know where Kurrai was placed?". "Yeah I do. Both of you follow me," he said. I didn't follow and James noticed so he grabbed my hand and ended up dragging me there. When we got to the room Dante held the door open for us, "I have to go help with training. James get her dressed then take her down to the dining room. My sister will join you soon enough," he said before opening the window and jumping down.
