Spring days, lumines least favorite time of the year. However, the tables flip the fucc around when events lead to tears, and Kody finds out something Lumine kept trying to remain secret. Could this ruin their relationship? Is Kody hiding something...

Kody's POV
"Well... maybe I should tell you after we eat," he begins to say. I sigh and jump down from the treehouse, which kinda hurt my legs. Lumine jumps shortly afterwards, then sprints off to the kitchen like a child. I follow him close behind and get ready to serve him. : : : As soon as I finish pouring soup into Lumines bowl, he scoffs it down in seconds, then asks for seconds. He can sure fit a lot in his mout- HEY WHEN DID YOU GET HERE, DIRTY KODY?? After eating the entire fucking pot of soup, he sighs and begins to tell me about what's been on his mind. "Well, first, let me your arms!" He blurts out of nowhere. I roll up my sleeves. Nothing here except for a small burn mark I got last week because Aiden attempted to bake. He looks at it with fear and confusion.
"Wait... where were you yesterday at night?" He asks me, his voice shaking. "I was on a late night run to the store... what happened?" His eyes widen, and he begins to tremble. Now I'm concerned about Lumine.
"Kody... call the police. Now!" He says while looking around nervously. I pull out my phone hastily and punch in the numbers 911. "911 what's your emergency?" Lumine snatches the phone from my hand. "Hello, operator?? There's someone in the house and I'm not sure if he's armed. I don't know where he is, however, I know he is still here. Please hurry!" Lumine shouts into the phone. Chills run down my spine as he speaks to the operator. My eyes dart across the room, and now I notice the small details that weren't there 2 Days ago. Scratched cupboards, dents in table legs, i realize how stupidly oblivious I am.
Tap... tap.. tap tap tap tap.
I hear the sound of tiny paws dance across the floor behind me. I look back, and it's puppy Lumine. Only... it's not. There's not the same shine in his eyes. "Kody! Look out!! There's an imposter!" He shouts. Lumine looks at his tiny feral form and lets out a low growl. A growl I've only heard a few times, and I was lucky to not be involved. "Kody! He's angry!!! Look out!!" The other Lumine shouts. "If your gonna be like this, then so am I..." the real Lumine says before turning into his tiny feral form. "Kody, this is gonna be like that one cup game. Keep an eye on only one cup, and neither of us will die," the Lumine next to me mutters. I held my Lumine by the scruff and draw an 'x' on his back just for good measure. I slowly put Lumine down, and on contact with the floor, he sprinted to attack the other Lumine... god this is confusing. My Lumine and lumine 2.0.. oh boy.
My Lumine stops abruptly, and circles his fake. I have no idea what he's doing, but i hope it's good. He starts to pick up the pace around him, until he's practically sprinting around his opponent. The fake is irritated though, I can see it clear as day. Then out of nowhere, he jumps up out of the trance at my face, causing me to flinch. Luckily, the better, and more experienced, Lumine grabs him by the tail and tosses him down. This sounds epic when I commentate, but it just looks like a bunch of puppies play fighting. "GRRR IM GETTING SICK OF YOUR BULLSHIT!!!" The other Lumine shouts. They both pop back into their human forms, and decide to have an old fashioned brawl. I decide to back away from it, but now I don't know who's who... Suddenly, Lumine shows me a small string hidden in his jacket. It's a pendant He got from his mother. Now I know where my Lumine is... "Also, stop calling me Lumine 2.0! The name's Jared!" The other Lumi- ahh-Jared shouts while looking at the reader. Lumine lets out a low growl, which sounded unnatural for a teen his size. I guess that growl meant something, because not even a second later, Lumine tackled Jared to the floor and went sharkisha oh his ass.

WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE POLICE???
The door busts open, revealing 3 police officers. They rush over to me, then look the epic fucking fist fight happening. "They look the same!! Who's the intruder???" One of the police asks me while they watch the two fight. I honestly couldn't tell anymore, but I should give a wild ass guess as to who's whom. "Hey Jared! YOUR MOM'S A PUSSY" I scream. "The fuck did you say about my mamma?" Jared says while escaping Lumine's punches. I pointed to Jared, who was arrested shortly after getting tackled to the floor again by Lumine. Afterwards, We didn't get much but a simple pat on the back and a golden sticker. Lumine enjoyed the sticker, so I might as well.
"You ok, Lumine? You seemed pretty pissed during the whole ordeal," I ask while petting Lumine's head. He pouts, slowly followed by a yawn and a cloud of steam.. I think. Puppy Lumine jumps in my arms with his golden sticker between his front paws, falling dead asleep in my arms. It's getting late.. I should get to bed soon too. I'm still kinda salty that he never told me about why he was about to cry and whatnot.
Oh well, I can't change it now.
I slowly creep up the stairs, being careful not to wake Lumine. I lay him down in my bed for the night, and head to sleep.

I was woken up by the sound of birds chirping, and the blinds wide open. I shift slightly, but then hear a small moan next to me. I look over and see Lumine hugging my side with a distressed look on his face. "Get... away..." he whispers while hugging me tighter. He must be having a nightmare. There's only one thing to do now... I slip away from Lumine's grasp and start hitting him with a pillow.
He still doesn't wake up.
I bodyslam him with a pillow, and he finally wakes up. "Mmmm.. good mornin- wait. This isn't my room," he says to himself while rubbing his eyes.he looks over at me with groggy eyes. "Oh, I guess I slept with you. Thanks, Kody?" He yawns. The way he said that made my heart skip a bit. I shake my head and go downstairs to eat some cereal.
I find Aiden on my way to the kitchen, who casually approaches me. "You two are so cute together," he says while taking a sip of coffee. My face begins to burn as he laughs softly. He ruffles my hair and heads out to do whatever. I sighed and poured me and lumine a bowl of cereal. I can hear him stumble down the stairs as he rushes to eat.
Once we've finished eating, we found ourselves pulled towards the living room, so we decided to play video games. He still sucked, since he usually played harvesting games and such.
With that, another event- less day flew by, dropping us in Monday. Again
Lumine's POV
"WAKE UP, KODY!!!" I growl while pulling the blankets away from him. He groans and lets go, making me fall back. I look back at him and rush downstairs. We had no time to eat breakfast, so we just ran to the bus stop on nothing. We show the driver our bus passes and rush to take a seat that wasn't already being used.
We arrive at the school, and as soon as I come in contact with the campus, Elijah spots me. "Oh, hey Lumine!!" He calls while jogging towards us. I walk a bit faster to try and avoid talking, but in the end, it was futile. It's not that I hate him, it's just that he's a bit clingy. I still think he's changed quite a bit from his old, naive self.
"I heard about what happened on Saturday- are you guys alright?" He asks eagerly. "We're ok, but Lumine over here went sharkisha on that other guy. I had to stand back and wait for the police," Kody mentions. Elijah shrugged and continued following me to my bush while Kody went to class.
"So, Lumine, I have a few questions..." Elijah starts
(I have no motivation to continue this chapter, so imma go work on my other story)
