The moon rose in the pitch black sky as the only light was the lights the cats called Silverpelt.  A brown cat with red streaks down her back, was walking on a log that stretched out across a tiny stream many feet below her.
Her amber eyes darted from side to side, waiting for something to jump out at her, something her size.  Like a coon, or a fox or something.  She sniffed the air just to make sure there were no hostile creatures around.
She looked down as she realized how far the trickling stream was.  Her eyes widened and her breath got shallower and then she realized how small the log was.  It started to rain and she ran across the log.
It was too small.  Her front paw slipped and she fell down.  She mushed her claw and held down.  She put one paw on top of the bark.  Then proceeded to do the other.  Then her back paw but it wasn't unsheathed.  She slipped and almost fell.
Her two front paws were holding on to the side of the log.  She gulped.  The log creaked and she became too tired and fell.  She yowled and screeched as she fell through the air.
She landed with a thump.  The dust around her formed a cloud and layer flat again.  Her eyes were wide opened as if she was still alive.  Blood trickled out of her forehead and her back.
She opened her eyes and rose from her body.  I'm dead.  This is my spirit.  She told herself.  As she looked at her body she looked up at StarClan.  Instead of seeing stars, she saw cats.
She flew up to the cats and then she saw her mother.  The gray tabby she-cat looked behind her.  Her star speckled pelt shimmered in the moonlight.  A smile appeared on her face.  Her amber eyes looked at her daughters.  "Welcome to StarClan."
