I sat by the sparkling lake,
Thinking of the one topic,
With tears in my eyes.
I heard my heart pound even louder
When he came by.
So he sat next to me
And smiled.
My heart was about to burst
It was pounding so hard,
And I had butterflies in my tummy.
Then he looked in my eyes,
His eyes that beautiful florescent blue shade,
He wiped my eyes
And as he leaned in to kiss me,
My lips started to tingle,
But he put his finger on my lips,
And told me it’s going to be alright.
As I rested my head on his chest
I heard his heartbeat pounding also.
