The cold air blew against my skin, causing my hands to grip the only source of heat tighter : the pizza box. Who knew something so delicious would also be the cause of safety from hypothermia?
It may be November, but god was it colder than usual. I guess I made a smart decision today by wearing the black Dominoes hooded jacket. Mostly there for the logo, but it provides more heat than none.
"Kong records?" Never heard of it before. I let out a long sigh as I slid the scrap of paper with the address on it back into my jean pocket. It should be around here somewhere, but where?
My shoulders hunched forward as I approached the cemetery, squeezing my eyes shut as I jogged past it. No, I wasn't afraid of a damn cemetery. But there's all that voodoo and karma shit which I wasn't prepared to take the chance of dealing with.
Then the next house came. It was a number too short.
"But the other house..." I froze mid-sentence, head slowly looking back over me at the graveyard, beginning to take steps back so I could read the word on the gates.
           KONG. God damnit.
I stood in front of the gate for a few moments, (h/c) blowing from the wind as I contemplated whether or not this was worth it. Yeah, they ordered three pizzas which would give me a shit ton of tip money, but cemeteries were weird places.
Remembering how much my monthly apartment bill is, I rammed the gates open, taking, unknowingly, my first step into a new life.

My (f/c) converse hitting the gravel was the only sound besides the whistling of the wind through the trees. Jesus Christ it felt like a horror movie.
It was a long walk up this never ending trail, only to see that there was a hug cliff and a rundown building on top.

I was out of breath, to say the least, by the time I reached the wooden porch to the mansion-like building. My (e/c) eyes slowly scanned around the exterior look, cocking my brow up at how much it appeared to be a work building of some sort rather than a house. I didn't really care, though. Wasn't my house or business.
I slowly climbed up the three-stair walk and onto the porch, walking to the front door. It was wooden as well but looked to be a bit more used — naturally.
I pressed the doorbell button and took a step back, pizza box in front of me and ready to hand to whoever was on the other side of the door.
"About damned time," a voice yelled from the other side, swinging the door open.
I screamed and took a quick step back , tripping over a splintered piece of wood, falling back as the pizza box flew out of my hand.
I watched in horror as it landed on the guy's head.
Wait. Why was he green?! He looked like a pickle.
That made me almost laugh. Not to mention he now had green and red - talk about Christmas becoming reality.
His face grew angry, though, and I immediately stopped laughing as I stared up at him.
I wonder how stupid I look, a pizza girl sitting on her ass after screaming.
"How the hell do you expect to make up for this?" he hissed, his long, snake - like tongue appearing which made my eyes widen. What was he?
I stared up at him as I awaited to see what he'd do, other voices growing louder behind him.

[sorry part one is terrible, I just needed somewhere to start!]
