Aria Summerhale is a 17 year old girl who is both smart and beautiful. She has black hair and sea blue eyes. She seems like your average girl with high school, friends, and parties. Until you add the fact that she's a werewolf and in her pack you must be mated on your 18 th_ birthday. Her pack is called the Canini Pack the Alpha of the pack is Jack Lupus the Luna is Sarah Lupus. Both of which happen to be great friends with her parents Jane and Derrick Summerhale. Derrick Summerhale is the Beta and according to the alpha one of the best enforcers the pack has seen in years. Aria's twin brother, Ace is a true pain in the ass and next in line for beta. Aria's bestfriend, Lucy Canus is a turned who was adopted by my parents long time friends Shay and Rob Canus. Being a turned destined you to be an outcast but Aria didn't care. And let's not forget Jason Lupus son of Jack Lupus and soon to be Alpha.
Arias POV "Aria! Wake up! You need to get ready for school!" I heard my mom calling. My eyes flashed open today was the first day of my last year and that god forsaken school. Remington High School. I threw on some skinny jeans and a blue v-neck that accented my eyes. I wasn't one for makeup so I put on just enough to make sure I didnt look like a monster. I left my long curly black hair down and ran down stairs." Bye mom! Bye dad! Love you!" "hold up Aria, why are you leaving so early? And you have to eat breakfast first" my mom squeaked. I sighed "I promised Lucy I would pick her up early so I could help her with clothes to wear." "fine just make sure you eat breakfast first" my mom sighed. I grabbed a price of bacon and ran outside. I jumped in my car and sped towards Lucy's house. When I reached her house I jumped out of the car then walked in. "Hey Shay! Hey Rob!" I smiled Mrs. Canus turned around "it's so good to see you Aria! Lucy's upstairs getting ready I believe!" she gave me a warm smile and a hug then I bolted upstairs and flung Lucy's door open " and the party arrives!" I say smiling then I look around a see no Lucy "damnit Lucy where are you this time!" I hear giggling and I smile " I will find you." she laughed even louder then shouted "bestfriend hug!" and comes flying out of nowhere and tackles me." I laugh and get up then pull her up " alright let's see what your wearing!" Lucy has honey brown hair and bright green eyes with full red lips and is just as tiny as me. She had on dark wash skinny jeans and ad gold heels with a white v-neck that had gold decorations on it. I smiled "not to shabby!" she giggled. We linked arms and skipped downstairs. "bye mom! Bye dad!" we said in unison and and walked out to my car. The drive to school was only ten minutes. I pulled into my normal parking spot and shut off my car. I turned to Lucy "ready?" she looked at me with a sly smile "hell yeah!" we got out of my car and linked arms and headed toward the cafeteria to meet up with Ryan Fidelis one of my wonderful best friends. Our school was an all werewolf school so there was no trying to keep it a secret that we were werewolves which made our lives a whole lot easier. We all had our powers and we all can relate to each other. I opened the door to let myself in the school only to run into a wall "the hell?" I fell I the floor "damnit!" I said frustrated only to look up and the one person at this school I loathed. The damned alpha's son himself Jason Lupus. In his mind he ruled, he was awesome, and everybody either wants him or wants to be him. That's where he was wrong I hated him with every ounce of my being and couldn't even stand to look him in the eye. There he was tall muscular grey-blue eyes and jet black hair. I have to admit he was good looking but such an arrogant asshole. He turned around and just stared didn't try to help me up didn't even apologize just fucking stared. Then he snapped out of his odd trance and placed a hand on my shoulder sending chills through my body, I shrugged it off probably from how much I hated him. "you're Aria, right?" we'll I'll be damned he knows my name good for him. We've only been practically raised together until the past 4 years. I looked up at him "well isn't it the one and only Jason Lupus, how lovely to see you." I shot him a bitter smile and attempted to finish my walk to the cafeteria. Only to be stopped by his grip I looked back at him to shoot him a glare when I noticed his eyes. They weren't hi normal grey-blue orbs they were his wolfs green-yellow eyes the ones that normally ment back off. I put my hands up in defeat. " sorry didn't mean to upset you?" His eyes returned to normal and softened "it's nice to see you again, we should hangout more" he added with a genuine smile. I knew it was a trick other than being arrogant he had a rep of being a player. I smiled back " yeah and I should sleep on nails every night" then this time successfully walked away. When we got to the cafeteria Ryan was waiting with his brilliant smile, bright green eyes, and blonde hair. Honestly we had decided a while ago that if we never found our true mates we would end up with each other, better to be with your best friend then a stranger. Lucy always shied away from Ryan's presence so they weren't that great of friends . Ryan and I were considered part of the popular crowd but Lucy being a turned wasn't accepted by the whole crowd which led to another one of the reasons why I hate Jason Lupus. He influenced a lot of the kids at this school and because he thought he was above a turned he led everyone else to believe that Lucy was not to be tolerated and was to pretty much be treated like dirt. Not everyone followed his example. My family was second in power and many people were just as intent to follow me as they were him. I was like the queen bee except not as bitchy. I sat at the table with Ryan and he gave Lucy and I a warm smile. He sat up and announced in his best girl voice "schedule switch!" we laughed and looked at each others schedules pointing out. My twin brother Ace came up " hey Ryan, Jason said he needs you for a minute. Ace was best friends with Jason and Ryan wasn't far off either. "nice to see you too my dear brother" I speak up. He looks at me " hey Aria didn't see you this morning where were you?" I rolled my eyes "like you really care" he shrugs "fine the. I won't be nice. Come one Ryan." Ryan flashed me an apologetic look then took off with Ace. The seniors were on edge this year. All of us were being pushes to find a mate or our true mate. The sad thing was that it rarely happened. Our pack was getting smaller and according to Dad Alpha Jack is planning on joining our pack with another by mating his son with the daughter of the Alpha of the Brogan pack unless Jason found his mate. If both of those plans backfired which I hoped to god they wouldn't, then I being the Beta's daughter would be forced to mate with Jason. I gagged at the thought. Lucy snapped me out of my thoughts "we have four classes together!" she squealed. I was happy but too deep in my thoughts to express any emotion. I looked at her and plastered a fake smile on my face " that's great let's go to first period then!" with that we got up and headed to chemistry. Jason's POV I slammed my locker shut "damnit! Ace she's your sister!" " yeah and FYI she hates you!" he retorted Ryan cut in "why was I brought here?" I turned on Ace m eyes glowing "do you have any idea how fucking terrible it feels knowing your mate hates you! Then hearing it from you best friend that she hates you? No you don't but do you want to know!? it feels like my insides and getting stabbed over and over and over again. And I can't do a damned thing about it!" Ace looked me in the eyes " you think I like this?! You think I like seeing my best friend in pain?! You think I enjoy knowing my best friend is basically fated to fuck my sister?!" screamed Ace. "hey Ace why don't you take a chill pill your face is purple!" smiles Aria as she passed us in the hallway. My heart fluttered and my little friend below was at full attention. I hit my head against the locker. And Ace sighs "better you than some douche I guess" an he pats me on the back a walks away. I turn to Ryan he was always the smarter one out of us three I look at him my eyes pleading for help " what do I do?" he sighs " I know how it feels, trust me, I've been trying since summer break on my mate but she shys away from me every time." I look up "when did you find her?!" I say bewildered. "A while ago but I didn't realize it till this summer" he sighs " well at leadst she doesn't hate you." I respond "nah man she might as well, at least your girl death glares you, I think I've seen her eyes twice the entire time I've known" I couldn't help but chuckle at that. Ryan smiled "I'm glad my pain brought you so much joy." he laughs. I look at him suddenly determined. "we are going to get our girls before winter break." I look at him and he nods. "who is she anyway?" I ask. He blushes," I know it's weird and not right but it's Lucy Canus." I had treated that girl like shit all the time I knew her and that was one of the reasons why my precious Aria hated me so much. Because I was an ass to her best friend. I looked up at him " I'm sorry man, if I would have known..." he cut me off. "just dont do it this year" he said his eyes flashing. I nodded and we headed to our next classes I knew what he ment when he said don't do it. A male wolf gets overprotective when it comes to his mate let alone his true mate. Messing with another males mate was asking for a death wish. And I knew to get my mate I needed to treat Lucy like an equal. Aria's POV Lucy and I were early to our first period to be sure we got the seats we wanted. Just as the tardy bell rang Jason Lupus himself strutted into the class like he was king I looked around to see where he would be sitting when my eyes landed on the only free seat in the room. Which happened to be right next to me. "damnit!" I muttered knowing most the people in this room heard that because we were werewolves. Jason say next to me then turned to me and gave me a 9 watt smile. " hey beautiful!" he exclaimed then He leave over an whispered in my ear "you sound really hot when you get angry". I rolled my eyes and tried to pay attention to the board the rest of class. But it was extremely hard seeing as he was eyeing me up the entire time like I was some sort of damned meal. When the bell rang I shot up from my seat, grabbed Lucy's hand and high-tailed it out of that room. When we got out to the hallway Lucy looked at me like I had a third eye " since when does Jason Lupus have a thing for you?" being the sarcastic bitch I am when I'm angry I retorted " umm I don't know maybe... NEVER!" Lucy stopped me "Aria, get this in your head and get it in there now, he was practi ally drooling over you!" she squealed excitedly. I rolled my eyes even though he made he social status what it was today she still looked at him like some type of sex god or something. " well maybe he was done playing with one of his old alit toys and wants a new one an thinks I'll be an easy pick!" I say as Lucy continues to stare at me "or maybe he wants you as his mate" states Lucy simply " it's that time you know?" I could feel my wolf burning to get out it was weird I wasn't normally so easily stirred up. "I know damnit!" I shriek back then stomp away. Lucy seems a bit hurt but follows in pursuit quickly after. She finally catches up to me and begins to say something but I cut her off "we will talk about this later okay Luce?" she nods k ow why the look I gave her ment and I felt bad for using it on her but Isis t want to think about mating with Jason Lupus. Not today not ever. Finally the bell that sounded the end of the day rang. I jumped up from my seat and bolted out to my car. Not wanting to talk to Ryan or Lucy I started backing out of my spot when I remembered I took Lucy here. I pulled back in and shot her a text to let her know I'm waiting. She replied quickly saying she was on her way. My phone buzzed and I didn't even bother to look a caller ID. "umm hello?" I say shyly "hey beautiful" responds the all to familiar voice of Jason Lupus. I sighed "what have I done to be graced with your phone call?" I huff out. He ignored my comment and continued. "I would like to formally invite you to the Lupus household for an Alpha dinner." "hmmm am I aloud to decline?" " I'm sorry I believe it says in the handbook that declining is forbidden" I could hear the smile in his voice. I missed when we were best friends and partners in crime... I giggled he was pretty funny I'll give him that"it's been forever since I've seen your parents.. I might take you up on that offer." "oh so you just want to see my parents?" he sounded disappointed. "well it is an Alpha dinner and your dad is the Alpha" I giggle. "well aren't you a smart ass" he retorts. I smile knowing I am. " oh and I forgot my dad wants your parents there too!" he added "okay" I chirp. I missed our friend days and maybe just maybe somewhere I had it in me to forgive him and get back to old times. I smile to myself. "bye Jason!" I jumped when Lucy opened the passenger door an hopped in my car " what are you smiling about Aria?" "honestly I don't know" I respond telling the complete truth. I had hated Jason for 4 years now and all the sudden he starts being nice to me again and I let him in just like that? What the hell was wrong with me? Jason POV I jumped at the chance to talk to Aria and my dad was overjoyed that I wanted to help with Alpha business. My mom knew about Aria and smiled at how willing I was to call her and invite her. My dad however was in the dark I had decided I would tell him after this meeting which I planned on Aria and I having alone time at. I heard her voice outside it sounded like she was talking on the phone. "yeah mom I'll tell Mrs Sarah that you and Dad will be a little late, no problem, okay, alright, I love you too, bye" she hung up and I heard her knock on the door. I bolted downstairs and opened the door with a wide ass grin on my face " hello Aria."
