Warnings: None besides it being kinda long. WASHINGTON CAPITALS ARE STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS Y'ALL. Anyways they won the cup the night before my birthday and I had this idea in my head so here it is. It's my first post on here so let me know what you think. I might start to take requests if y'all think this is good. ENJOY

You woke up to an empty bed as usual. The past few months have been pretty hard on andre and yours relationship. you really did Love andre. You two have been together since he got drafted to the NHL for washington. One day you and Andre went on a vacation together for your anniversary and that is when he decided to pop the question. Between you working all day and all night to save up money for your wedding, and Andre traveling to different cities for the playoffs needless to say its been pretty stressful. You heard your phone going off so you looking over to see that your sister texted telling you to open your door. You got out of bed and walked over to your apartment door. Once it was opened you saw your sister standing there was balloons they were white and red and also contained the numbers 2 and 1 for your birthday.

"Happy birthday my little nugget." your sister yelled. You giggled and took the balloons.

"What are your plans?" your sister asked

"Work, per usual. Andre is in Vegas for the game tonight. I wish that i could be there, Lauren Oshie texted me asking if I was coming but I told her I worked a double." I sighed. Your sister handed you a cup of coffee that she had picked up on her way over.

"thanks." you said taking a huge drink. You had worked the night before and only gotten a few hours of sleep. Andre was texting you last night telling you that you should come out for the game since they might win the stanley cup. Of course you and him got into a fight because you told him that you had to work and he came back with you are always working. This angered you more stating that you were the one planning and putting money towards the wedding.

"Has andre texted you since last night?" You sister questioned as she walked in your bedroom, you thought this was weird but didn't take note of it

"No. It's okay though. I know he is busy..."

"Alright. Well I have to get going text me later and tell me how things went. Love you." Your sister said rather quickly.

You finished your cup of coffee and got in the shower seeing as though you had to work soon. You saw you had a notification on your phone.

"Hi my love. Happy birthday Future Mrs. Burakovsky. I love and miss you. See you soon." Andre said in the snap. You laughed because there was a cluster of the guys behind him making faces. You missed all of them and couldn't wait to see them once they were all home.

"HI babe. Love you too. make sure to bring that cup back with you when you come home. Love you Mr. Burakovsky." You sent back in a snap.

You got a text from one of your good friends that you worked with

"9-1-1 hurry." That usually wasn't a good sign. You quickly got dressed and headed out the door.

It only took a few minutes to get to the metro and from there it was only another 10 to get to work.

"What is the emergency?" You asked rushing to put your things down. You didn't even notice that your sister was there.

"Y/n put this on and lets get going." Your friend said. You looked at her. She wasn't dressed in scrubs and you finally noticed your sister was there.

"What's going on?"

"Just get changing we have to go." your sister said. You got changed into Burkies jersey. this is what your sister much had grabbed in your room. You walked out only to have your sister put a blindfold on you. It felt like it was a long drive. Your sister got you out of the car and you walked into a building.

"Alright, the game starts in a few hours you'll get there in time to see him. Have fun." Your sister said taking your blindfold off. It took awhile to adjust to the light but you could see you were at an airport.

"you aren't coming? wait I have to work." I started to say

"Taken care of. We are on another flight."

It wasn't a long flight. You saw that you had another notification once you got off the plane. you didn't have time to look at it you needed to get a taxi, you were running and saw that there was a sign with your name on it. a car was waiting for you. One you got to the arena you were brought up to the WAGS box. finally you were able to look at your phone.

"Hi my love. See you soon." andre said. You were about to send a reply when you felt hands around your waist.

"Hi my love." andre said kissing your head.

"Hey babe. What is this?"

"You'll see. Happy birthday babe." Andre pecked you in your lips and headed out the door.

"Y/n come." Lauren said. There was a crown and a sash that said 21st birthday.

The game was back and fourth. You were on the edge of your seat. There was only a few minutes left in the game and it was tied. Next thing you know DSP scored making it 4 to 3. You were counting down until the time ran out when the scoreboard went weird. They had to stop the game to make sure that they got the right time. there was 40 seconds left in the game. everyone was cheering. Finally the buzzer went off and it was announced that the washington capitals were finally stanley cup champions.

The guys took their turns with the cup. Ovi skated around the rink with the rest of the team following close behind, until they spotted some girl who pulled her top down. Of course Andre was the first to notice. After what felt like forever the WAGS were allowed down onto the ice. Andre found you picked you up and gave you the biggest kissed.

"I love you my love." Andre said

"I love you too Andre. By the way I saw you looking at that girl..."

"It was funny. Come on lets not let that ruin your birthday. The night isn't over babe."

After the guys went back into the room to celebrate some of the WAG went home to put their kids to bed and get some rest. They all told me they would see me for breakfast tomorrow.

"The night isn't over yet lady." Lauren said to me as she blindfolded me.

We got into a car and drove not too far away.

"She's all yours." Lauren said to someone.

"HI my love." Andre said as he took my blindfold off. I could see that it seemed to be a lobby of a hotel. He took my hand and walked me to double doors.

"This is for you my love." He pushed open the doors to reveal the whole team and all the WAGS who said they were going to bed. There was the stanley cup sitting in the middle of the room with cake around it and drinks.

"Happy birthday!!!!!!!!"

Your sister came and grabbed your hand.

"You did this?"

"No, Andre did. He said win or lose there is going to be a party. He said that he'd pick you over everything and anything."

Just then Andre came and wrapped his hands around your waist again.

"Happy birthday my love." He said kissing you.

"Andre, thank you." Was all you managed to get out before Tom came took you away from andre to bring you to the other guys so that they lift you up in the air.

Eventually they put you down Tom walked you over to andre.

"You need to get this one a drink since she is now of age:" Tom smiled as he walked away.

"I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you Andre." You said

"Neither can I my love. I'd pick you any day."
