Dive in Romance

Chapter One

"Adé!" Shouted Jefferson. She woke up to the sound of him shouting, "did you take my damn headphones?" Adé briskly got up from bed, walked into Jeff's room, which was on the opposite side of hers. "I don't know what your talking about" she said rubbing the sleep from her eyes. "Ya right, I left them on the breakfast table last night!" Shouted Jeff again. Adé turned her back towards him and said while walking away, "How am I supposed to know where your stupid headphones are? And why would I even use your headphones, eww their prolly filled with ear wax, so disgusting." She rolled her eyes and continue her journey back to her room. Jefferson was her brother who was six years younger than her, and complained about everything!

It was a warm Saturday morning. One of the best actually since summer started. And she had nothing planned for the day. She went back into bed, pulled out her phone from under her pillow case and texted Paige. "Are you awake?" the text wrote. She tucked the phone back under her pillow and layed her head on the pillow. She looked up at the ceiling, remembering when her parents had just installed the mirror and decor creating a perfect ocean theme. The mirror reflected her wallpaper filled with exotic fishes and her bed spread the lightest shade of blue.

Adé really loved the ocean, not just cause both her parents were professional divers, but because of how the water made her feel. Like she was floating in space where none of her troubles exsisted. Bling! Her phone sounded, Paige must have replied she thought as she quickly picked up her phone. Paige was her best friend, but she was considered more like family because of how close they were, and how long they knew each other. It's been like 16 years. They met in Pre-K when they were like four years old. "Yeah, I've been up since 5am." She replied. Adé looked at her time on her phone it was almost 9 o'clock. "Waw P why so early tho?" She texted back. And jumped off the bed and ran into the bathroom, took a quick shower, brushed her teeth and got out. She then sat down on her dressing table and tried fixing her thick curly hair as quick as she could, fixed her eyebrows and put on some pink lip gloss. She smoothly rubbed on some body lotion on her glowy brown colored skin and jumped back into bed looking to see if Paige responded to her text message. " My mom has some charity event to prepare for this afternoon and I'm helping her" the text wrote. " Do you wanna come? " Not having anything to do that day she told Paige that she would be there.

It was 12:30 when Adé got to the charity event. She couldn't believe how fast time had gone by. She had only closed her eyes for five minutes, atleast that's what she told herself. "Adé!?" She could hear her name being called from behind her. "What's with it and people shouting my name today", she thought. She turned around to see Paige running towards her. "Why did you come so late uh?". "I overslept okay, sorry" said Adé. Paige walked towards her mother, Adé followed right behind, she and Paige did almost everything together. Mrs Thorne was standing with some clothes in here hands, Adé assumed that it must be for the charity. She soon realized that the event was to collect clothes for children and women without to ship to india. "Hi Adé" greeted Mrs Thorne. Right away she told Add to place the clothes that were collected so far into categories to make it easier for when packaging and shipping.
