review:
" Madeline Witthier " is a self girl who suffers from a rare disease called SCID , she hasn't left her house for all her 17 years. and no one can get in or see her..
her brother and father died in an accident when she was a baby. so her only relationships are with her mother and nurse Carla.
Madeline is calm, and accepting of her isolated life. she loves reading books. she takes classes online and plays games with her mom.
one day, everything changes when the guy "Olly" appears in her door. they catch each other's eyes, exchange messages through the window, start a friendship on the internet, and eventually fall in love.
for the first time in her life, Madeline wants more than her safety. so she decides to risk it all and run away with him to discover the world she has missed, the world 's joy and wonder.
her physical and emotional journey reveals much about who she is and the lives of those she loves.
In the end, a shocking truth changes a lot of things in her, and helps her to finally find her lost life..
" Everything Everything " isn't just a teen novel. but also a compelling romance told fr Madeline's point of view. she 's kind and smart about how she has to live due to her illness.
Once you start reading this novel, you truly get how it would shake her world. you feel how badly she wants to see the world outside and experience things even if those experiences could cause her pain, emotionally and physically.
personal opinion:
I loved Madeline's adventurous spirit, and her big and strong desire to discover the world even that she knows it'll cause her pain. the way "Nicola Yoon" describes and tells the story is simply beautiful. though I didn't like that it ended quickly.. I wanted it to be longer, even the end wasn't very clear and detailed .. I felt like the author was in a rush to finish the novel !
I give it: ****/*****
I don't usually write review, so I would like to know your opinion of mine .. and I'll be grateful .. ❤
