It was you.

A young woman was curled up in the corner of the room, tears cascaded down her face as she mumbled incoherent words.

"Y-you...you killed him! It was you...you murdered him and then you tried to dispose of the body!" The woman was shaking, a pistol gripped tightly in her hand.

It was plain to see that it looked like the woman was talking to thin air. Anybody that may have walked by at the moment would see her as crazy, someone who belonged in a nut house. But if you had been in the state that she was in, the other world that she was drifting back and forth between, you would be able to see the tall creature looming over her.

"You do understand that I had no other choice, do you not?" The creature asked, her fangs showing as she stepped closer to the woman. "He was too close...he knew too much, I apologize. I truly wish it could've been resolved in a different manner." She crouched down and stared at the woman .

The woman tried to back up farther, away from the menace before her. But nothing remained behind her but a thick, stone wall. "Back up! Back up or I'll shoot! I swear to God I will!" She brought the pistol up and pointed it at the creature.

The tall beast shook her head. "I'm afraid I can't do that, ma'am." She moved a hand up, in front of the woman, and clenched it into a tight fist. The beast watched as the woman's eyes became hollow, and white. She shivered and her skin turned paler, now the beasts hand was shaking, blood pouring from it's palm, and the woman was dead, with no evidence as to who - or what may have killed her.

If you were smart, like very few people in this century, you would have been able to figure out what murdered this woman so easily, leaving (seemingly) no evidence. It was clear to all the believers in the world, they were certain that they had figured it out.
It was plain to see that this woman was murdered by a demon.
