Mira flew in from the open window, tucking her feathered ice-blue wings close to her sides. Almost half of the remaining alphas were there - Greely, Liza, Graham, and Tavie.
Tavie would never miss a meeting, even if it meant having to hop through streams or use her magic extensively. Greely was already in the Temple of Zios, in his secret laboratory. Graham was helping him getting the exact calculation on phantom chemistry. Liza was Liza. She was always there and was the binding material between all of the remaining alphas.
"Where are they?" Asked Liza.
"My eyesight isn't that good from above." Mira replied, drawing out a pair of glasses from her wing. It was white at first, but then it became dark blue with blue lenses. She used her wing to put it on her beak.
Greely snarled, "Why do we even bother recovering these wretched files from Zios' Archives!"
"Exactly because of that. Zios has secrets, some even I didn't know of. If we read his writings, maybe we'll find out what they were." Mira answered.
"Half of these are primalistic drawings, codes, and graphs." Tavie noted, "I hope they get here soon."
"And poems." Graham reminded, "Which is your specialty."
At that moment coming up from a trapdoor was a pink bunny. She walked over to Greely, a blue wolf, before greeting Graham, a greying silver monkey.
"We were just talking about you, Peck!" Tavie chimed cheerfully.
"Cosmo should be on his way." The pink bunny cheered.
"Wait.. how did you get down there?!?" Greely questioned, looking disturbed and unsettled. "That only leads from-"
"The basement of secrets!" Peck interrupted, "Guess it's not so secret..." Greely twitched and growled.
"I'll have to change my locks." He muttered to himself. A green leaf wafted in from outside and in a flash of green light a brown koala appeared.
"Cosmo!" Exclaimed Peck.
"I guess everyone is here." Cosmo said, dusting himself off.
"I guess you're right."
"Time to assign papers. I have already sorted them by creative types."
Sir. Gilbert barged in from the door, "Why does everyone forget about me?!?"
"Maybe it's because you have no creative type." Muttered Greely, "Atleast I have science capabilities and an advanced understanding of Zios magic." Gilbert, a orange tiger with blue stripes, payed no attention to his comments.
"Okay. Here you go," Liza handed out folders to the alphas.
Mira took a coded poem from Tavie's folder. "Weapons of Fire,
Weapons of Life,
Weapons of Water,
Weapons of War,
All of them together will form,
Weapons of Destruction."
This wasn't so cryptic. There was some sort of weapons - dangerous weapons - but what exactly was it and where to find it?
She put it in the middle of the table. "This is interesting."
Tavie said, "I found this interesting too. June 1st, 0000PC1. Yet it has the Jamaa anthem."
"That's odd." Cosmo agreed.
Gilbert pushed a small chart onto the table, "All of the battle plans from the first Jamma war. Yet it has Zios Alpha Staffs, in different colors then those we use typically."
"Weapons of destruction," Mira whispered, memories flashing before her eyes.
