If I had known what I was walking myself into, I probably never would have done it.
Nicholas lets out a groan of pain as he shifts around angrily. He was asleep and knew damn well that the soft mattress underneath him was neither his, or the place he even fell unconscious. What even caused him to suddenly pass out anyway? All the man could remember was that he was running from something. Even that he forgot, but he remembered he had a bleeding wound down the side of his leg from getting scratched ruthlessly. All he could remember was what happened and the burning pain in his left leg. He continues to shift around with discomfort as he tries getting used to the bed under him. He was unaware of the person watching him right next to the bed. He lets out a grunt as his orange luminescent eyes opened slowly, shining through the darkness of the room. His vision was blurry and his head was throbbing. Must've hit it on a rock or something when he passed out. He takes a moment to let his sight come back to him while he looks around the room. He was suddenly faced with the chest of a tall man in a suit of black. He lifts his head to notice that he had no face either and his skin was snowy white.
