"hey even, I heard there was a new kid coming to school," mini said as he was playing paper soccer with Wildcat.
"really? whats their name?' I asked laying back in my seat. waiting for the almost nightmarish class to begin. "his name is Jonathan, but preferably'delirious'."mini said, scoring a goal.
"why 'Cartoonz', Luke?" said Bryce said, playing chess wit Omh. "oh yeah...good point," Cartoonz said with a grin on his face. we had a little giggle as we watch the clock count down our hours until torcher.
"and...cue the lesson of hell and torcher," I said as the bell rang. I hated school but at least I got to hang out with my friends. everyone walked in and sat in their normal seats than a short boy with messy black hair, and a mask walked in. He kinda looked shy as he walked to the back of the room and took a seat, sitting down and minding his own business.
the teacher came in and started the lesson but I was more focused on the new kid. he was just writing something in his book never looking up. was he even listening?
"Hey Tyler," I said leaning over.
"Hey Ev," Tyler said also leaning over so the teacher would hear us.
"you know where the new kid came from?" I asked in the softest voice I could. the teacher turned around and in milliseconds Tyler and I went back to our normal positions. she turned back around and kept writing on the chalkboard.
"no, but I heard that he got kicked out of his school because he was in an accident and killed someone, but... I doubt that he did"
"EVEN, TYLER DO YOU THINK MY CLASS IS BORING AND THAT'S WHY YOU NEED TO TALK IN IT," said the teacher which made us jump.
"yeah it sucks, and is boring, " I called out.
"it's so boring, why do we even have to be here and learn this shit," wined Tyler.
"because it's advanced math! you'll have to use it if you want to get a job" said Mrs.Monroe (the biggest thot in the school)
"I won't need to get a job if I die here of boredom," I said.
"well, then why don't you come up here and use your 'smart mouth' and finish the problem" she put a grin on her face like she just beat me but I came up and solved the question with ease. and she then said "fine then, just don't interrupt the class again.
"Actually, you interrupted the class when you yelled at me." she ignored me as I high fived Tyler.
"you and your pride," sassed Luke with a grin on his face
"Hey, what can I say I'm a little wise owl," I said as I leaned back in my chair and talked to people near me.the bell finally rung and then Cartoonz and I head to our next class, art. one of the only class I enjoyed besides the 'BEE-U' class were you took care of bees. I mostly like the art class though because she lets us do whatever we want only if we get our work done and don't burn down the room...again.
"hey...ah, vannos right? said an unfamiliar voice. I turn around and see the new kid holding his timetable. I nodded and he said " can you help me find my next class. I'm kinda new"
"sure," I said and he handed me his timetable and I saw he was in the same class. "fallow me and Cartoonz, were in the same class as you. he nodded and I made the gesture to follow. luke was to my right and delirious was to my left. people kept walking into delirious because of how small he is. "hey you should walk in between us, no one messes with us". he nodded and got in between us and we walked to art as delirious walked with us.
delirious was so cute but I cant think that I'm not gay...am i...Nah.
we walked into the class and the teacher nodded saying "welcome" Cartoonz invited delirious over because our table only had 4 out of 5 people sitting there. me, Cartoonz, moo, and Tyler
"yo even whos this" asked moo motioning to delirious
"this is the new kid. meet delirious." I said trying to show him off like a new iPhone.
"Hey, delirious, names Moo. this is wildcat but if you get mixed up just call him Tyler" Moo said with a smile. delirious nodded and then sat down in between me and Cartoonz and took out his drawing book. he flipped to a page that had a drawing of Batman but the head was a raccoon.
"Dude that looks wicked" Cartoonz and I said at the same time. I gave him a glance but paid no more attention to him and focused what was in the drawing.
"Batcoon? is that his name"I asked delirious nodded shyly and watched me take out my drawing book. after flipping to the page I was looking for I showed Delirious. "his name is 'night owl'
"whoa he's cool as shit," said delirious looking at my work
"thanks," I said with a smile. when Cartoonz showed him his delirious had the same reaction. I guess I was a little jealous that he didn't just like my drawing but I shrugged it off.
"Okay class, get into groups of two or three, you will be making a sculpture of anything you want. go crazy.
"hey, delirious wanna work with me and Cartoonz?" I asked and he nodded of course.
"what do you wanna make. we can make anything"
I saw delirious' gorgeously blue eyes light up. I fell into them like an endless pit and felt like I couldn't come out. then I woke to delirious cheering "Teddy bears"
