Hello, and welcome to the collab of @Writingafterchance and @BroadwayBean. This is a topic we've been wanting to address for a while: Idea Theft. We have noticed a particular writer who has been guilty of this in multiple fanfictions.

We are not stating the user's name as we do not wish for people to witch hunt them, and by us stating them, we are not specifying the gender, as we wish for the gender to stay silent. We are also not stating the works of the writer, as it would become rather obvious as to who this user is. We will however state the works of which are being copied by this writer.

On an alternate account of mine (@WritingafterChance writing here), there is a story known as Double Cross, which is an Anastasia fan fiction. @BroadwayBean, would you like to state what is unintentionally being copied?

(@BroadwayBean writing here) Yes, the main things that are being copied are the Glanya (Gleb x Anya) subplots and the writing style. This user has commented to @TuesdayElevoraAddam's story with very vague comments such as "this is great" and then updating their own Anastasia fanfic mere days after the fact with plot points that are similar to Tuesday's story, these plots points are mainly the Glanya fluff.

(@WritingAfterChance again) Disclaimer: The Glanya existed in this user's story beforehand and only made the fluff more prominent after these chapters by @TuesdayElevoraAddams were posted.

Another thing that existed was the sudden use of Russian in this user's Anastasia fan fiction. @BroadwayBean, would you like the excerpts of Russian from this user's story?

(It's @BroadwayBean again) Yes, I never noticed the Russian in either of your stories, or at least am not remembering it so clarification would be nice.

(@Writingafterchance) Excerpt from Chapter 12: Musical Workshop story by @TuesdayElevoraAddams in collaboration with @GirlmeetsMusic

The two girls returned, Kayleigh deciding to move her seat and found herself next to Constantine. Kayleigh still was uncomfortable as she knew that the director heard line flubs from Nicole and had asked her to start over. Kayleigh heard Nicole struggling with the foreign languages. Kayleigh sighed, deciding to help out by pronouncing the lines, "Otpusti menya! Ya skazal, otpusti menya! Ya khochu domoy!"

Minka responded, "Yes." "Get them!" the two spoke. Minka cried out in Russian, "Ostavit' nas v pokoye! My nichego ne sdalali dlya vas! (Leave us alone! We did nothing to you!)"

@BroadwayBean, what day did the user post the chapter with a slight bit of Russian?

(@BroadwayBean) I can't answer that since I don't know when your chapter was posted, do you know?

(@Writingafterchance) Chapter 8 and 12 were posted November 28th-30th, 2017, and Chapter 15 was posted on December 2nd of the same year.

(@BroadwayBean) I remember reading your fanfic on Christmas Eve of 2017 and then hours after finishing it on the same day the writer in question came out with an update for their fanfiction. I believe a few chapters before they posted a chapter featuring Russian. I could be wrong since I read your story after it was completed.

(@WritingafterChance) I can attest to the fact that the Russian chapter in the questioned user's fanfiction came out after I had finished the fanfiction, and the user did comment on this story.

(@BroadwayBean) I remember reading this user's comment and it didn't arise any suspicions from me since all it said was something along the lines of "I can't wait to see how it ends" but @Writingafterchance definitely noticed something was up.
