I have worked here at Denbigh for 46 years and never once have I ever met an oddity such as Nicoli Reeds. To explain further Denbigh was an insane asylum until it was banned for citizens to attend there. I was not there for the closing but that is not what I am bringing to the public's eye. Nicoli Reeds is what I am trying to warn you about. Never, ever, ever, have I ever met such a broken, deranged man in the 46 years I worked there. I have also never met such a sane kindhearted man. He was 6'5 had burly messy brown hair, and stone cold grey eyes. He was also the palest person I'd ever met, his pearly white skin was only more accentuated by the bags that rimmed his eyes. Though he was incredibly handsome and could even see myself falling for him, you could tell something was terribly wrong about him.

His case file further proved my belief that something was wrong about him. His case file came with an extremely long list of disorders and phobias. His file stood out from the usual ones we get, usually they have one or two but he has an astounding 12 disorders and phobias. Many of which are untreatable unless through electroshock therapy. After seeing his file I doubt that that would be a good idea. His disorders and phobias are as follows.

Bipolar

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

Sociopathy

Schizophrenia

Dissociative Amnesia

Insomnia Disorder

Nightmare Disorder

Narcolepsy

Hypnophobia

Aphenphosmphobia

Xenophobia

Phasmophobia

As you can see Nicoli was a man to be feared. Not only do his disorders prove that so does the warning that was printed in large bold letters. DO NOT ALLOW NICOLI REEDS TO SEE HEAR OR TOUCH ANYTHING. I of course found this odd, but dismissed of it even though I maybe should not have done that. When Nicoli walked in he was in a straight jacket, blindfolded, and had a muzzle over his mouth, he was chained from top to bottom as well. The closer he got i saw he had a thick layer of gauze around his head.

"Nicoli Reeds." The man guiding him said. I stopped staring at him and led him to the cell they had requested.

As we walked down the dull hallways, the other patients stared at Nicoli. We neared the cells thick door. I fumbled through the keys finding the one that fit, I opened up the door and was surprised to see how massive it was. Another thing that shocked me was the single chain and a hook that came down from the ceiling. I watched the bigger men who came in with him, hoist him up and hook him upon the hook. Nicoli did not move.

I whispered to the big man next to me, "What's wrong with him?" I never took my eyes off him.

"Beats me I just had to hook him up." He then turned and walked away with the rest of them.

I looked at the body that hung in front of me, he was still and unmoving. All around his feet, but never actually touching him, were large platforms and a table. I decided to leave Nicoli by himself. As I was turning I heard him say in a deep raspy tone,

"Do you believe what that file says about me?" I turned shocked. Nicoli was in the same position as before. "Are you gonna look at me dumbfounded then, Aleah?"

Now I was scared for the main reason of he knew my name and that I had turned and was looking at him. He was blindfolded and gauzed how could he hear my name, which had never been mentioned, and see me?

"I guess you won't give me answers either." He said more loudly.

"I will just hold on a second, how do you know my name?" I was surprised to hear words come out of my mouth, I was scared straight why did I respond?

He started chuckling. "All of you guys think I'm crazy, but I'm all knowing. I know what color your hair is." Not for a second did I believe him.

"Oh yeah mister smart ass what color, or since you're all knowing what does my hair look like" I said scoffing.

"Its pure white short and wavy, for you're an albino." I was completely and utterly shocked, he guessed everything right.

I then immediately turned shut and locked the door and walked back to my desk. I read over his file again and again with no clue how he was able to know how I looked without he never even seeing me. Soon Roger Silsby came back saying Nicoli would only accept food from me. I was shocked but made a journey to cell #484 on west tower, to give Mr. Reeds his food.

I walked cautiously up to the door and unlocked it. As I slipped in he got visibly straighter. As my heels clicked up to him I saw the food laid out on the table on top of the platforms.

"Ah Miss Aleah Floyd, come to give her prisoner his food. What a romantic love story!" He shouted and made me jump. Although I did find Nicoli very attractive I did not want to be married to a person like him.

I warily walked up the steps and took a spoonful of my homemade chicken pot pie and blew on it then gave it to him. He ate it and moaned slightly.

"Mmm let me tell you nobody makes good food for us, thank you Aleah." I was not surprised he knew that for all I know Rodger could have told him that. So I continued to feed him, spoonful by spoonful he would chat with me, but not in the manner a person with all his disorders and phobias would. We discussed topics from our favorite foods all the way to poetry. I began to question what the file had told me how could such a wonderful person have all those things?

"Do you know why there's a warning at the bottom of my case file?" he asked me and snapped me out of my thoughts. I looked at him shocked. "Well do you?"

"Sure." I replied calmly.

"I lost control and killed everyone at borage hill." he said with a hard blank face. "Oh gosh I've never told anyone that it feels great to say it to someone."

Needless to say I was startled by his sudden remark. I stopped for a second. I was ceasing to move, the food I held in my hand grew cold. I stood there looking dumb till he spoke to me again.

"Did I frighten you?" He asked quizzically. He suddenly broke the buckles of the straight jacket, and reached a pale, scarred hand to my face. I winced. He touched my face anyways, his hand was cold and stone like. Yet it was somehow comforting. I found myself leaning into his touch.

Suddenly Nicoli stopped. "Rebuckle me please." he asked me kindly, I did as I was told. All locked up I sat there and blushed. I stared up at the oddity known as Nicoli Reeds with a certain awestruck. He was certainly not human, he did not lie when he said he was all knowing.

¨Why do you show softness in your heart if you are a psychopath?¨ I asked him out of wonder and of fear. For if he was a sociopath and was just merely pretending he was doing a damn good job. I stared at his scarred white skin, wondering how he had received them. They had almost looked like burn marks.

¨Because I am not a phycopath, what happened was they had kept pushing me to my limits at borage.¨ He stated confidently. I for some reason believed him. I believe I am falling for you Nicoli Reeds.
