Why, Brother?

Xu Lui'an breathed raggedly as he clutched the sword piercing his chest.

Despite the pain, he let out a smirk.

"Why, Brother?"

Looking up at the other man before him, Xu Lui'an tried to fathom why of all the people who hated him, it would be his own brother to end him.

"You've done too much evil. I didn't interfere in any of the things you've done but seeing you kill so many innocent people, how can I sit back and watch? Someone ruthless as you should be left to me." His brother stated with coldness. His eyes glared down at Xu Lui'an who laughed bitterly.

"Yes! I'm ruthless! I'm always the bad man in your eyes, am I right? Since we were little, you always liked to play victim and put the blame on me. But remember this, even if I die, you'll never be as strong as I am!" Xu Lui'an exclaimed as he released the destructive force he'd kept hidden. With a boom, the surroundings exploded, causing the ground to tremble. The force was so strong, it created an actual earthquake, killing all those who were within its radius.

Xu Lui'an, his brother and everyone else were trapped, with nowhere to run.

"You've gone insane!" Xu Lui'an's brother yelled seeing as he was completely trapped.

At this rate, everyone was going to die if they didn't get away in time.

"Xu Lian, did you think I'd let you kill me without any price? Wrong! You're following me down to hell!"
Xu Lui'an shouted his last words before allowing death to take him.

Or so he thought.
