the homophobic mother

(This short story will be told in the main charaters pov the entire time) ((this story has boyxboy and bad language in it, dont like dont read!! Also credit to all the arists of the pictures i use. I used pintrest and google so alot of times the artists names aren't said))

It's a nice sunday afternoon, the suns up in the pale blue sky blessing the earth with it's warmth. Im sitting in a nice comfortable wooden chair at the dinning room table while my mother cooks dinner.

Hi, Im Lisa! Im a sophomore in highschool who is currently drowning her self in a thing called yaoi. Now you might be wondering 'Lisa what's yaoi?' Or 'Lisa why yaoi?' Well my friend those are some pretty good questions.

Yaoi is a word used to refer to gay relationships typically in manga/anime. (I googled it to help me sound smart lmao (~°^°)~)

This is unfortunately something i must constantly hide from my mother. She is very homophobic which is really ironic considering my dad was actually gay and only married my mother and had me so that his family would love him. He is in a happy relationship with my new step-dad John!

Now you might be thinking that maybe my moms super religous or something, but she's not. You see it's because my dad left her for John. She wasnt to happy about that but i was. When i found out that they were getting married i happily walked into school telling everyone i had two dads and how cool it was to have another father figure. However my mother wasnt to happy and she threated to gain full custody of me. Jokes on her I'd rather be living with my Dads and if she does take them to court all I'd really have to do is say 'Hey i wanna be with my dad' and BOOM I'd be chillin with them for the rest of my life. Anyway back to the present.

I was scrolling through pintrest when i came across a cute picture of my ship Bakudeku (dont hate on mah ship please its not a big deal otay?) As i was looking at it a smile made it's way onto face as i continued to look at the details. 'Awe thats adorable' i thought to my self as i saved it to my gallery.

"What's adorable?" My eyes widened slightly as i looked up to see my mom infront of me. I could feel the sweat running down my face as I tried to think of something to say. "Uhhh...the picture...of.....a...PUPPY! Yes it was a adorable husky!" Even i could hear the nervousness in my voice. "Really? Can i see? You know how much i love dogs!" She replied with excitement in her voice, her eyes almost seemed to have stars in them. "Y-yeah... I'll just find it really fast..."

I was in utter shock that she fell for it, i lightly shook my head and let out a fake giggle as i quickly typed into the search bar on pintrest pulling up pictures of huskies. I tap on the first one and turn my phone to show my mother the screen. "Aww that really is cu-" she was cut off by a quiet *ping* sound from my phone.

That specific sound was to my wattpad. "Lisa, you wanna explain why the hell you're read that shit." 'Fuck...' Her voice sounded as if it had gone down nearly 3 octaves and by the look on her face i can only imagine it was a update for one of the yaoi books I've been reading. 'Im not ready for this!!'

"I-i...umm....it..was a prank...?" My voice got higher pitched as i got to the end of my response. Beads of sweat rolling down my face as i started to panic. "Well its sure as hell the lamest prank ever, i cant believe you!" She said, you could almost hear the disappointment dripping from her words. With a look of anger still on her face she turned around and made her way to the kitchen. And thats when i realized...

'My moms a fucking idiot....'
