At the end of AYITL, we found out Rory was pregnant. As of right now Rory is trying to figure out how to tell Logan he's going to be a daddy. So, Rory decided to go back to Stars Hollow and get advice from Lorelai on how to tell Logan. She is so scared to tell Logan because he is about to get married and don't know what he is going to do. The only thing Lorelai told Rory is that you need to figure out what she wants from Logan. She did tell her she was terrified to tell Chris when she found out she was pregnant for Rory. She told him because he needed to know that he was going to be a father. She did not know Chris would want the responsibility but he did need to know just like Logan needs to know. Lorelai went Rory if you love him, and he loves you he will not marry her after knowing about the baby. The most terrifying moment for me was letting Emily and Richard know that I was pregnant with you because I disappointed them and they had high expectations for me. You need to ask yourself what you want from him? When you answer that question then you fly over to him and tell him in person.
Rory arrives in London a day before the wedding. She runs into Shira and Mitchum at the airport. Mitchum asks her why she is in London, and she says she is on an assignment for work. Then she walks away and goes to the rental car to get her car and then go to her hotel. At the hotel, she gets up the nerve and gives Logan a ring. They talk on the phone and Rory tells him she needs to tell him something very important. He meets her at her hotel room in like 20 minutes after hanging up from each other. Logan comes to her room and she asks him to have a seat and then tries to get the words out, but Logan interrupts her with the news. He looks at her and says your pregnant!!She then says yes, and how did you know. He says it was written all over your face. Then, Logan surprises her by saying lets get married right now because I love you. Logan says that I will tell him that I love you and that he will need to get on board with us, or he can stay out of our whole life. Are we going to tell him that he is going to be a grandpa now or later? We will wait to tell him after we are married. Rory agrees. Then, she says I cannot get married without my mom, Luke, my dad, Lane and Zack, Sookie and Jackson, Paris and Doyle, and Emily Gilmore. Logan says call them all and tell them that their tickets will be waiting for them at the airport.
Rory and Logan meet everyone at the airport to tell them that we are getting married. At the wedding, Rory wants to talk to Lorelai beforehand because she wants to know if she is doing the right thing. Lorelai asks her if she loves Logan, and if the answer is yes, then you are doing the right thing. Mom, did you love dad Rory asks, and Lorelai says I did love Chris but not like the way I love Luke. Rory, our situation was so different from yours because we was 16, and our parents wanted to control us. I want you to do what you believe is right for you and the baby. Rory says Logan wants to move to Stars Hollow and work under me at The Gazette. Then, she looks at Lorelai and says we need to call Shira and Mitchum, so they can be here to see us get married. Lorelai says that is your guys decision to invite them here. She says they deserve to know and also know about their grandbaby. Then, Lorelai is about to walk up to Logan and tell him to invite his parents when they walk into the church. Mitchum walks right up to Logan and asks what the hell he is doing? Logan says I dont love Odette, and that me and Rory are going to be parents. Im going to marry Rory, and have our baby together, and if you don't like it then you guys can just leave now. Lorelai is surprised by Logan giving his parents a ultimatium. Mitchum says what Rory is pregnant! Shira, goes she is not good enough for you, and she will bring you down with her Logan. You need to come to your senses and marry Odette tomorrow, and leave Rory and the baby. Mitchum looks at Shira and tells her to shut the fuck up, and leave because Logan is not in love with Odette because his heart was already by the one, and that one is Rory. Logan you are doing the right thing and choosing happiness over anything else. If it wasn't for your mother tricking me into marrying her I would have married my highschool sweetheart. Hey, son if you need anything let me know, and I will help you and Rory out. Even if it is a job in Connecticut, so you guys can be closer to the baby. Rory, goes Logan you should take that job because I am only working at the Gazette without pay, but I am working on something right now. As of right now, I need to ask my mother for permission to write a book about our lives before I can start writing it. At least, one of us needs to bring in an income for the baby's sake. Logan goes if it is really alright with you I will take my dad up on his offer.
