" But Why daddy? Why can't we stay" five year old me said

"Because I said so clare!" I sobed softly feeling warm tears on my cheeks

" Oh clare I'm so sorry I didn't mean for you to cry I'm just stressed from work" he pulled me into a soft hug feeling his warm embrace made me feel safer

That was 4 years ago now I'm heading back to Arizona for my birthday " So Grace you have to get friends this year, also I forgot to remind you there's going to be a student helping you around school " said my mom

"please tell me its a girl" i say

"oh honey its a boy. You need to have more freinds that are,boys all the freinds you had at your last school were girls" she said

"NOOOOOOOOOO! why mom"I let a whine out. The rest of the ride went smothy except when mom cept telling me I need a boyfriend.

Then we got to the hell hole *school*

"The student helping you is in the office honey"

"Why mom why can't it be a girl help me around the school" I said in a irritated vioce

"Sweety stop complaining I didn't pick the student helping you around the school"she said in a sweet voice

"Uhhhhh" now I have to live with this the only reason I don't want to have a guy helping me around is because I had a best freind in elementary but then I moved and it was bad for me cause I never got to say bye. And I dont want to seem like I'm replaceing my best freind even though I haven't seen him in 4 years. I've been through middle school and freshmen year I really hope he's still there in the same town
