I wake with a start, only to see Ben's face inches from mine. Everything around me is pitch black, but his face stands out like the sun. My heart is beating at the rate of a race car, Ben's face is so close to mine, I break into a cold sweat.
But before I can say anything, I see the look of extreme fear he wears, he talks. "Harmony, I know it's late, but I need you to listen. They have been looking for a long time, now they have finally found me. I'm leaving soon, but I had to say goodbye."
I am confused, but I can't bring my thoughts into order before he kisses me. Fast, but the best thing ever. He waves and whispers " Don't tell anyone about what you just heard, stay safe, bye Harmony".
I am so shocked, that when he leaves, I don't realise that I will never see him again. I have so many questions, who is 'they', why is Ben leaving? Before long I fall into a restless sleep. In my dreams, I am running, running into the darkness.
