Who?
The delirium of being wanted clouded my judgment; who would want the girl that laughs
So easily
But cries the hardest?
Who would want the girl that gets A's on every test
But can't catch this yarn ball of reality.
Wants of being a better person because the girl you "loved" pulls you down like weights tied to your feet as you try to swim your way
Out of the ocean of lies
And drama
And deceit.
Who would want the girl that falls so fast but can't be caught?
The rains of her emotions can't be grasped in the hands of the one she believed could save her from this
Thunderstorm of pain.
Others failed but you sailed her seas like no one else,
You caught all the rain in one hand
And told the thunderstorm sweet nothings until it became nothing but a cloud happiness and love.
You made her sun shine upon the rainy day that was her life.
But how could she not see that you were not a friend
but a foe.
Because who would want the girl that is too stupid to see the difference between her love and your lust.
