It was ten o'clock. I knew I shouldn't be out on the streets this late, but I just had to see him again one last time.
I took the way I always took; the road less traveled. Through the alley and around the old house. If I sneezed I probably would get shot right there in front of the house. The Kallum Way gang doesn't allow non-members on property, they have eyes every where and if they caught you, you were given no mercy. Lucky for me Jason was on watch tonight. We hadn't seen each other since my brother died, that was two years ago.
When he saw me he ran up and threw his arms around me, at that moment I knew that someone in the whole entire world loved and cared about me and only me. After a hug that seemed like it lasted a lifetime we kissed. When we kissed, we kissed deeply we were truly in love.
When we stopped he told me that he had to go check with his brother to make sure he could leave. He told me he'd be back in a second, then he disappeared into the dark, lifeless night.
