"Rossa Nouries, Conferences room 7" spoke the blondie behind the main desk eyes glued to her computer, she wore a plunged white shirt and a black pencil skirt that was clearly too short, totally appropriate for office, note the sarcasm
"It's about time you realised me" I sighed under my breath.
" I'm sorry what?" She disapprovingly asked "nothing", I said giving her a fake smile as I walked off wobbling my way across the building in my black Red bottoms.
Argh I never should have worn these shoes today, I was half asleep as I was getting dressed.
I only had 1hr notice, I was told to attend a so called 'important meeting' on behalf of the company I worked for MILANOSRA INDUSTRY.
While making my way down the hallway, little too lavish for one might I add. My grip on my Birkin bag began getting tighter, with
chills running down my spine as I got closer to the conference room. I'm not the owner of the company i work at, but I have climbed my way up to a respectful position, that also has a high pay, with the help of studying, confidence and determination. I wasn't born apart the 1% population, my family is middle classed. Being a girl working in the business field is not easy, especially with competitive colleagues and rivals and not to mention the sexist ones.
Anyways I'm a very independent and a strong lady. I proudly have my own apartment in the city of Melbourne, even though it took a lot of convincing for my parents to allow me to move out.
In my family there's no moving out until you are married, and since I have a huge family with a lot of expectations , I broke that expectation and possibly more, well not that I'm aware of at this stage.
I'm very close with my immediate family such as brothers, I'm the only girl of four and uncles, I have no aunties, but cousins I see them from month to month, sometimes even weeks depending one who, because in big families you always have the two faced ones and the adoring ones and you really never know who is what unless you catch them in the action.
Enough about my family and more about what was going to go down in a few seconds. I was informed this morning as I said literally one hour ago that I have to attend a meeting with the biggest rivals in the business industry. Alessio Mcqueen, the son of the CEO of Mcqueen Pty Ltd hosting this years meeting. Rumour has it or let's just say he is certainly cold, heartless and possibly gay since he has never been seen with a girl, well that's at least what I read off the front cover of magazines.
So I'm here to represent my company along with other representatives from many different companies to discuss recent problems and whatnot. Meeting like this usually start with bragging about what new investments they have invested in and growing big heads on how much profit they could possibly make the following year, and eventually end in a really heated and pointless argument. These are usually held once every year and annoyingly I was to take the RD place since he called in sick.
Stopping at large wooden door, staring at a plaque with 'conference room 7' engraved on it in gold letters.
Breathe in and out, in and out,in and out. Ok I can do this, I've done this a million times, who cares if you are a woman you are no different then the rest.
Straightening my posture and concealing my panicked face to a stern look, I opened the door revealing a long hardwood conference table that easily seated about 30 people. On each wall the were a set of cream coloured couches usually for the assistants and a coffee table at the end on the room noting to myself to grab a coffee since the need of caffeine was high.
Not bothering to greet anyone since all of them had their heads dug into their laptops and papers, I made my way to the seat that had a tab with the company's name, yay to me it was in the other head of the table.
As I took a seat all eyes fell on me. Not only because I finally filled in the only empty seat that should've been occupied 20 minuets ago, but because I was the only lady sitting on this table, stuff that in this whole room.
"Wow, hello good looking" a young looking man said from one side one the table.
"Are you sure you found the right room, woman the kitchen is on level 23" another said.
Rolling my eyes I carried on minding my own business, I read over the meeting schedule hoping this won't take too long, the guys finally drew their attention away from me.
Still feeling as if someone was still staring at me, my eyes shot up making contact with the person that was sitting on the other head of the table across from me. Quickly adverting my eyes down to the schedule,    of course he would be sitting there I mean he is the heir to the company.
Alessio Mcqueen had stared me down as he stood up and commenced the meeting, beginning with
" Have respect for the lady, if I hear another word from you people speaking in an unmannered tone. I will make sure you and the company you have come here to bloat about crumbles to the ground" his deep voice, boomed through my ears. Making the other men look down too scared to meet his green cold eyes.

Sooo, what do you think? Should I carry on?
This is my first ever Wattpad book. I've read soo many romance books but they never had what I was looking for, I mean everyone has their own likings. So I thought I should write a book with the things I wish that were in romance books.
