Chapter 3

"What? My father isn't alive. He died when i was 3. My mother told me. She wouldn't lie to me about something that serious." "Well Kate she did. Your father is alive and I know this because I talked to him not even 24 hours ago," Jeff says with a smug look on his face. "But why would mom lie to me she had no reason. No right." "Well Kateline it looks like I'm going to have to talk to your mother now to tell her that you're showing signs of being a creepy pasta because now you'll have to live with us." "First do not call me Kathrine, only my dad does...did, and second, why would I live with you guys, its not like I kill people like you people." Jeff looks at me and smirks, "Well KATELINE, you have to live with us because you are no longer safe in the human world. Once your full power kicks in you'll want to hurt people and as much as I would love to see you kill someone, you have to get the urge under control before you go on a killing spree and murder the whole town. So you will be living with all of the creepy pasta, including your dad, at Slendermansion." Jeff doesn't even wait to hear my reaction. He gets up and starts walking down the stairs. "Jeff mom is going to be kind of shocked to see you here, especially looking like that." "Kate sweetheart diners ready...oh hello Jeff, its been a long time, how are you?" "I'm fine Joclyne. It has been a long time but I didn't come here to chat. Kathrine is showing the signs." "Oh I know she was showing them in the car on the way from the hospital. By the way...did you know who did that to Kate Jeff?" My mother says in a suggestive tone. "Nope not a thing but I think now is the time to get Katweline's stuff packed up and bring her to Slendermansion and I think she should leave tonight. With me." I've been in shock this whole time. Why is my mom having a normal conversation with Jeff like they've been friends forever. "Mom. You know you're talking to killer right?" "Oh yeah sweetie Jeff is an old family friend. He took care of your father when I couldn't." I turn to my mother and glare at her "oh yeah and why did you tell me this whole time that dad was dead if you knew he was alive?!?!?!?!?" "Because Kate I though it was better than saying that he left us to go to a mansion full of killers. Especially since you were only 3. I thought the truth would damage you more than saying that your father died." "Well mom, you thought wrong. Do you know how much I cried over dad dying? How much it hurt that he was killed? i guess all of that cring should have been directed to the fact that he left you to raise me by yourself so that he could satisfy some urge to kill inocent people!" I said with tears in my eyes. Mom was about to say something but I didn't give her the chance, I was already half way up the stairs. When I got to my room I locked the door and did something I haven't done since i found out that my dad died. I cried. I cried and cried for hours and hours until I had nothing left to cry then I just sat on my bed silent and numb from head to toe.
