THE AVENGERS WERE ONCE THOUGHT OF AS THE PEOPLE MEANT TO PROTECT THE WORLD FROM HARM. Except this time.

This time, time wasn't infinite.

It wasn't something they could grab at to protect.

The eight infinity stones were in play, two of them lied in the hands of two thirds of the group that was brought together by fate.

Calina Borislov saw it first hand when a giant circle came floating through the sky, she sat next to Peter, the two sharing a glance.

They couldn't let it happen like that, how were they supposed to be the friendly neighborhood protectors if there wasn't a neighborhood to protect. Which, was a note Peter choose to keep from Callie and bring up with Tony.

"Ned," Peter poked at his friends face, they needed a distraction, "Ned, we need a distraction."

"We're all going to die!" The two could always trust on Ned being able to distract everyone with something completely stupid.

"Come on Callie," Peter whispered to the brunette, looking at her with sad eyes. Neither of them liked fighting, they didn't like the fact that the world they knew might be falling apart right in front of them.

"I don't want to," Peter glared at the green-eyed girl, an unimpressed look going over his face.

"You're coming," Peter sighed, grabbing the girl and pulling her out the window of the bus, "you know what to do."

She did, so with that she found her own way to follow Peter. Though, for her it was still quite a blur, she hated that part. She hated the getting there, the fight was something she loved, she felt in control, but when it came to getting there, there were so many things that just couldn't be stopped.

"I wonder what Blaire and Willa are doing, probably having the time of their lives because they're adults and can do whatever they want," the brunette muttered to herself, kicking one of the many rocks lying on the ground.

"What the fuck happened here?"

"What the fuck happened indeed," Calina knew she had heard that voice before, so with a small smile she quickly turned over to see the smiling face of Wilhelmina Mae Rogers.

"Willa, aren't you like, supposed to be with my dad?"

Calina didn't like the face Willa made with the mention of Thor, it didn't seem like something that she wanted to know about.

"Oh Cals," Willa walked close enough to push the girl's brown hair out of her face, quite the same way Calina would expect a mother to do, "they didn't see me, but then again my powers made me invisible to their own eye. Calina, Loki and Heimdall, they were killed."

"No," the girls voice broke, she couldn't believe it.

"Remember how I told you about that feeling I felt two weeks ago, the one that was unsettling?" The brunette nodded to her own cousin, a worried expression beginning to form on the small features on her face.

Willa hated thinking so critically, in such a stark way. The last time she had done that she was with HYDRA trying to figure out how she was going to take out an entire city of people.

"Well it's happened, Thanos is coming."

"Does that mean?"

"We're getting the three together," the blonde meant Blaire Windell, the only person who didn't have something to protect other than the people she lived. The person with the will to fight, not just the need to fight.

Calina took Willa's hand, that was the one thing Willa had that others didn't, the ability to travel beyond cars, beyond what the physics and laws of science say. The ability to travel beyond just one cosmos, just one planet.

"Blaire," the two girls met the other face to face, or as close as they could when the girl sat on the roof, her foot swaying in the wind.

"Code ten?"

"Worse."

For Willa could only tell that whatever happened next would only be the beginning. Someone or maybe even many were going to loose the thing they cared about most, that's why they have to do their best to protect them.

"Willa," the blonde looked up to see the group, which was odd for the three of them to be a group when they barely even know of each other, "can we at least get to see them before we leave."

"I wouldn't not let you go without seeing the people you love most."

"Do I have to?"

"Yes, Callie, you do, because no matter how much you'd like to say that you don't like Peter we both know you love him, with all of your heart."

"Does that mean you're going to see Bucky?"

"No, I'm going to see Steve and Blaire's going to Bucky," Willa sarcastically retorted.

"Well then," Calina rolled her eyes taking the hand of Willa, Blaire taking the other, "here we go."

Except, as amazing as it would've been for the three to see each other after Willa dropped them off to say their goodbyes, Calina decided to travel a space vessel with Peter, which only happened to be one space vessel that was spelled against the abilities of one Wilhelmina Mae Rogers.

Okay so that's chapter one! Chapter two and the rest of this book will be split between earth and Titan (which, if you don't remember, is the planet Tony, Peter, and Doctor Strange end up on)
