a new beginning- hayley's story

chapter 1

hayley's pov
"hayley! the bus is here!" my mom yells up to me. "coming!" i grab my backpack and run downstairs. it's my first day of public school since i was little. i was starting 5th grade, which was middle school at the school i was going to. i'm super nervous about it. i am excited for my dance tryout after school. i've been taking classes since last summer, and now i'm finally trying out for company! "bye hayley you're going to have to take the bus home, annie has to go to set" of course she does. everything revolves around annie in this house. "you'll be able to bring me to my tryout, right?" "we'll talk about it later have a great day!" she says. "bye mom." i walk out of the house and onto the bus. it's crowded with a bunch of kids talking and fooling around. i find an empty seat towards the back and sit by myself. another girl walks on and asks "is this seat taken?" "no", i reply, "you can sit here". maybe i can make a new friend already. "my name's ava, i'm new here." "me too! i'm hayley i moved here from maryland." "i used to live in florida, but my mom is a movie director, and got a job here." "that's so cool! my sister annie is an actress and a singer." the bus stopped and i looked out the window at the school. "wow this school is big." i say. "i know, but at least i met you so i won't be alone!" "yeah" i say and smile. maybe this year won't be so bad. maybe this will be my year.

hey guys! i'm really excited for this story. it's kinda based around my elementary school years (except for the sister being famous part😂). i relate to hayley in a lot of ways. i hope you guys like the first chapter.
p.s. updates won't be very consistent because my life is crazy and i have a lot going on right now, but i will try as hard as i can to update as much as possible.
