Crush

Everyone has a special someone in there life.Someone that you can't stop thinking about. They are always on your mind. You could have the best relationship; talk and text every. Single. Day. Or you could just see them at school and immediately your heart melts
. They always make you laugh. So it's hard when you see another, flirting with the person who brings you happiness every day.

It's hard when you see someone flirting with your crush buts it's even harder when it's one of your best friends. My crush and I went to the same primary school and it's safe to say that from about grade 5 to now (grade 10) I have had the biggest crush on him. We have always had a good relationship all through primary school to high school, and found out I liked him at the end of grade 8. He asked me if I liked him, being stupid I said no and acted like I had no idea what he was talking about. In grade 9 he figured out I still liked him and things became awkward as he didn't know how to act around me, which was really shitty. At the time I was going through a bit of stuff with my family which made it even harder that we had absolutely no relationship anymore.

At the start of grade 10 we began to rebuild a relationship as friends again as I had texted him explaining how i felt about the situation which he completely understood. At this time one of my best friends started to become very close with him( closer then usual), flirting with him. It was hard but I didn't say anything because I didn't want to start anything between us as I had also gone to primary school with her. I kept quiet for a while about my feelings until my other two best friends noticed and encouraged me to talk to her about it..I did and she promised that she wasn't doing it on purpose and said she would stop, which I believed as she wouldn't purposely hurt me. She backed off a little but was still a bit flirty with him. I was mad but I couldn't really do anything..he wasn't my property and I trusted her to not do anything with him because all Friends crushes are officially off limits in our group..or so I thought.(that's another drama) She had continued to flirt with him..she tried to kiss him on the cheek but he moved away. After that I was over it..I couldn't be bothered to say anything about it.. she understood where I was coming from and backed off completely after my friend talked to her later than day. Things have been great lately between us so here is your sort of happy ending😂

P.S
she is an amazing person and actually didn't know she was flirting or doing anything wrong as she is just naturally bubbly and happy and talks to a lot of people. I do not blame her or anything like that.
