Will & Alicia

Chapter 1 • „What can I do to make him notice me?"

Alicia's been feeling incredibly uncomfortable at work lately and it becomes harder and harder for her, to focus on her daily work. She's been feeling this way for so long already, that she can't even remember when it all started.

The person who makes her feel like she loses all the control over her body, is no other, than Will Gardner.

Alicia's been made second chair at Will's trial this morning, when he knocked on her office's door and told her, that he needs her help. She used to be his second chair more than once in the past but now she's not too sure, if she can take being so close to him, without touching him.
Without going crazy.

•

She's sitting next next to him at court, watching every move he makes. She loves the way he gesticulates when he tries to convince the judge and she adores how his muscles twitch, when the defense uses unknown evidence he hasn't seen before.

Suddenly she gets pulled back from her thoughts, when she hears Will starting to yell...

"Objection! This is unbelievable!"
Will shouts loudly, standing in front of the judge.

"Withdrawn, Mr. Gardner! You don't have any solid evidence to prove, that Mr. Ramirez killed his wife!" the judge shouts back.

Alicia's squeezing her legs, when she notices Will staring at the judge angrily now. "He's even hotter when he's mad" she thinks.

"Your honor..." Will says, now trying to control himself the best way possible.

"What more evidence do I have to present... to make you understand, that the defense is manipulating this case since the very beginning!?"

Alicia missed the rest of the trial, because she constantly thought of the man she gives all her attention to.

"What can I do to make him notice me?" that's the question that keeps swirling around in Alicia's head.

Will ends up losing the case and leaves court with Alicia, walking right beside him.

Will looks at her and asks "Hey, would you like to have dinner with me tonight?" with a smile on his face.

Alicia doesn't answer until she realizes that Will meant her. Her heart starts pounding like never before, which cause her in red lipstick covered lips to keep silent.

"Alicia? Are you okay?" Will asks her.

"Umm...uhh...no, I mean yes! Tonight is perfect!" she answers.

"Great! I'll pick you up at 8pm!" he says with a big smile on his face.

"Okay, see you later!" Alicia stumbles.

Will walks around the corner but Alicia stands still, as if she's glued to the floor.

"He asked me to have dinner with him! He really asked me!" Alicia thinks and starts smiling like crazy.
