The Government Run

Chapter one: The situation

                 Chapter one: The situation "Run, run Thea what are you doing GO!" I told myself as I stood in front of where I grew up, something felt as if it was keeping me there while I knew I had to go. I ran and I ran as fast as I could into the woods behind my house.

My name is Calathea Marisin but my friends call me Thea, ya I know my name is a little out there but I don't care, besides it's the name of my moms favorite flower but, that's not important right now. If I'm going to tell my story, I'm going to do it right, lets start from the beginning of that day.

It was a beautiful day and i didn't think anything could ruin it but I was Obviously mistaken. It's started out as a normal summer day in the life of a 16 year old. I started out by listening to one of my favorite radio stations. It was called "Inside Government Life" I always liked government but never enough to have a career involving politics. But that day "Inside Government Life" had leaked some of the governments biggest secrets, so the government shut it down, tracing the people who listened to it daily. I, of course, was one of those people, the people they already found were hurt and bribed, I knew I had to leave I grabbed my phone, charger, some food and water and I put it all in my backpack I said goodbye to my family and Allie, my best friend, and ran into the woods.

That pretty much brings us up to speed on what's happening now back to where we started. Now I know what your thinking, can't the government track my number from my phone, well I used my technology textbook to find a way to change my number daily, so everyday I have a different number to text Allie and my family and they knew it was me from my one phrase "I'm okay and on my way" I texted that phrase everyday, and every couple nights I found a house with a outlet where no one could see me or a garage with a outlet and I sat and charged my phone.

Now that I know my plan, I was ready, it was day one of running I ran and ran as it was getting late I finally found a huge fallen tree I sat down and grabbed my phone out of my backpack to try find out exactly where I was of course, based off of the information from my phone I predicted I was somewhere in Enders state forest in Connecticut. After I used my phones information I wiped it of everything on it so it was useless till I reactivated it in the morning. I checked one more time to make sure no one could find me and I slept right there in Enders state park under a fallen tree, that was the end of day one.
