Dear Diary,
We Are Moving!
I can't believe that this is happening. My life is over! This is all thanks to my father's stupid company deciding that he was needed elsewhere. I mean this mine only opened two years ago and it's a practically new town so we are most likely going to have a lot of seclusion from the world. So what if I want to contact all my friends, I won't be able to send letters to keep in contact with them, and it's a super long ride to the town so we will be sleeping in our wagon on the way there.
My mother and father keep saying to Alfred and I that this is a great opportunity for us to learn about new places. But can we talk about the name of the town? 'Frank' I mean who names a town after their first name, this just frustrates me. Well I've got to go but I'll keep you posted on what's going on.
Sincerely, Aadya

Dear Diary,
We are officially moved out and in our wagon and on our way to 'Frank.'Truly I'm the most depressed that I am leaving all of my friends in Winnipeg. They all came out the day before we were leaving with a pretty daisy for me.
I started to tear up and they all hugged me; just thinking about it makes me want to cry. This wagon is so bumpy it is hard to write this down at the very moment; I am also sitting in between our pots and Alfred's underwear, I can tell you right now that I am really grossed out. Mother is calling for me. She is needing some help cleaning up the 'clutter' as she put it.
With love, Aadya
P.S. I'm trying out my writing skills and what kind of ending I should put after my entries.

Dear Diary,
We are now moved it to our new house! I'm sort of changing my mind on this one, it's beautiful; it even has a porch (which I will be writing these entries on from now on). We live on the outskirts of town which is really far from the school apparently, so it's going to be a very long walk.
There was a boy named Timothy who came over with a loaf of fresh bread from his mother (it is delicious with mother's homemade cheese.) He was quite funny, trying to make jokes about everything to me until Alfred came out of the house to say 'hi' then they just left me; however I feel like we are going to be good friends because if he keeps up with the funny attitude it's going to work.
With Love, Aadya (I think I'll stick to this one)

Dear Diary,
I've started school today, it is a lot smaller than our last school in Winnipeg, but the teacher is wonderful; her name is Ms.Appleton, and she really knows what she's doing (unlike our previous teacher Mr.Vonstrutt). She gave out home grown apples to the class in the morning so she knew that we had something to eat (so we could concentrate).
Timothy is in my class (since it is such a small school) and he has been trying to distract me in class, which keeps me from doing my work; and it was getting really annoying. Alfred really likes Timothy and they have been playing outside together a lot while I have been inside doing extra work for school, I have joined in on a few soccer games with them in the front yard so it isn't that bad having Timothy around.
There are a few girls around my age in this town, but none of them interest me in the way that they aren't very fond of school, so I just haven't put making friends with them at the top of my list. Mother has been the bane of my existence recently, she has been making me do so many extra chores lately because "if I'm not spending time with friends I may as well make myself useful" as she put it in her own words. I'm so tired right now from all the chores that I feel like I'm about to fall asleep where I'm sitting.

Dear Diary,
We had an English test today in school, I did wonderfully (I got the highest mark in the class!) Mother is not allowing me to be excited about it but Alfred is allowed to flaunt his marks to everyone because "it's not ladylike to flaunt your schooling grades," so I can't even be proud of my mark. Ms.Appleton is very proud of me because of this, she asked me if she could administer another test to me tomorrow for arithmetic. I'm pretty certain that I'll do the same on the maths test as the English one, so I'm not worried.
Timothy was surprised that I got such high marks and was wondering if I cheated; I was taken aback by his comment and immediately angered so I slapped him across the face and stomped away to a tree to read and eat my lunch. I'm still mad that he said that; thinking that I'm stupid or a cheat.
I have to go do my homework now, so I'll write you later.
With love, Aadya

Dear Diary,
Timothy apologised to me. Apparently the arithmetic test was a 12th year level test; so a 16-year-old girl (me) passed a high level test with a wonderful mark (I am very proud of myself.)

Dear Diary,
Alfred has finally been the victim of mother's chores; that means that it's just Timothy and I playing soccer. Now that Alfred has to do all the chores he is complaining so much about it whilst he did not get even close to the number of chores I got when we first moved here (just to clarify I didn't complain at all.).
Timothy asked me if I wanted to go to the pond later today and look for little creatures; I'm really excited for it! He wants to show me some really cool creatures he found last time he was there.
So far I haven't told anyone about the test scores yet and I really want to tell someone. I don't know if I should tell Timothy about the arithmetic test because he might be threatened by it and be offended by how smart I am, so I'm at a fork in the road and don't know which path to follow. Hopefully, I come up with something soon.
With love, Aadya

Dear Diary,
I told Timothy about the test scores today and he was fine with it; he was actually really happy for me and he hugged me. It was really awkward after that hug, but then he started to ask me questions about school and he asked me to tutor him, I gladly accepted the position and asked him what he was struggling with (apparently his English lacked which I was surprised by since he was one of the top 3 in the class for schooling). So we kept on talking and started to walk back to the houses when he stopped in the middle of the path at a corner, I went to ask him what was wrong when he kissed me, HE KISSED ME! I was shocked at this, and I just stood there looking stupid. Timothy smiled at me when I felt my face turn tomato red as I looked at him, we just casually walked back to the house and said goodbye. Internally, I'm still freaking out now; I mean he is a nice boy who is really cute with his blue eyes and shaggy blond hair, so I really don't know what to do at the moment.

Dear Diary,
Father has been talking about the mines lately and saying how there is a bunch of valuable rocks in there and how it's literally a money pit, I honestly don't care about the mines because they take my Dad away from me for at least 8 hours every day and bring him home exhausted and hungry.
Anyway, Timothy came by today and since Alfred finished all of his chores he came with us and played soccer and sat under the trees when we wanted to take a break, Timothy kept on looking at me and smiling because one or twice he may have caught me staring (obviously I looked away with red cheeks.). Alfred still hasn't noticed what happens because he is still acting like his normal self (thankfully), but I really think that I have developed feeling for Timothy which confuses me a lot.
With love, Aadya
