I sighed and pulled my curly frizzball into a pony tail, I was hot and tired and aggravated.
"Hey, Colleen?" Korys voice was hesitant, he's gotten the ugly side of me far too often lately.
"Yeah?" I managed to keep my voice void of emotions, I looked up to see his phone against his chest. "AGAIN?"
Kory nodded, "He won't stop calling."
I rolled my eyes and pushed away from my desk, stepping on bunched up papers with discarded ideas and script ideas on them. Season 2 needed to be finished and with my divorce going on right now I didn't need this right now.
Kory mouthed sorry and I took his phone.
"What do you need now Joshua."
His voice was raw, he'd been crying and it was obvious he was in his feels. "I need you, Coll. We can get counseling, I can get past the cheating."
My eyes widened, my blood began to boil and I threw my water cup harshly into the sink. "Cheating!? Nobody cheated, Joshua! I don't need this."
"Look; I'm sorry. I'm sorry, ok. Erik seems like a cool guy, I'm..."
I cut him off, shaking my head. "Don't you dare speak about Erik, you don't deserve to even know him."
"Colleen, we were fine until you met him! You want me to believe there's nothing there? You spent all your time with him and Christopher!"
I gritted my teeth and saw my phone lighting up, I grabbed it and saw Erik's name and ran it to Kory who answered it.
"I never cheated on you, I don't have it in me to betray someone that way. I'm sorry my show got the best of me but this is my baby, but if it makes you tolerate this and move on think what you need to. I have to go, please stop calling Joshua. Goodbye."
As I closed the phone Kory pranced into the dining room and opened the fridge, he stuck his butt out playfully looking over his shoulder at me. I smiled and smacked his ass on the way by, laying his phone on the counter.
"What'd Stocklin want?" I wrote a few words down on my messy notepad and opened my texts, a few from family and Ariana.
"He wanted to know if you could come out and play." He said playfully, "I told him yes, he will be here in 10."
"Kory!! I have so much to do. I can't go anywhere, no! Why would you do that? I'm in my pajamas, I look like a sack of taters!!!" I frantically checked my poofy hair and tossed my phone.
"Well," he said proudly, "I said yes because Stocklin wanting to be social and get out is a rare thing. And you need to get out and let loose, laugh a little and remember why you're queen! Better hurry!" He winked and pranced off to his room and I groaned loudly.
The minute I shoved my feet into my shoes Erik was at the door, I opened the door and motioned for him to come in. "Hey come in, I have to eat my purse."
"You stressed out?" He asked quietly.
"What? I'm always stressed Stocklin." I laughed, "why? Oh here it is!" I grabbed my purse and slung it over my shoulder. I looked over to him and he was smirking, "What's so funny?"
"I'm waiting for you to eat your purse."
"Eat it?...." I asked, confused.
"You said you needed to eat your purse. Do you need a side item or a condiment perhaps?" He joked, I laughed and shoved him out the door.
"Yes, I'm stressed ok. Apparently when I get stressed I stress eat Italian leathers. Let's hit Louis Vuitton for dessert!"
