"Stay the fuck away from me," Louis shouted with a piercing scream.
"Louis, it's not what you think! Please, come on. Just come back," a husky voice shouted back shakily, running after Louis as he got away from the nightmare he just witnessed.
"No! Fuck off! Don't ever talk to me again! I should never have trusted you!"
"Louis..."
Louis turned back and looked over the man's features. He looked genuine, but Louis wasn't fooling for that again.

After a long silence of the two standing apart in the rain, Louis shook his head. "Leave me alone," he repeated then slowly walked off, letting the rain pour on him. He didn't care. He just wanted to go home. The only problem was that he was walking away from his home.

Two Months Earlier...

Another day had come where Louis was walking through his most dreaded nightmare. High school. For this sixteen-year-old boy, high school was a piece of shit wrapped in some more shit. In other words, he hated it. It wasn't that he didn't have any friends. It wasn't even that the subjects suck and the teachers can't teach. He just hated Styles. Even that name made him grimace.

Once again, Louis was trudging through the halls until he felt a tap on the shoulder. His eyes widened. His fists clenched. His heart pounded.
"Well go on, turn around," Liam laughed, spinning him around to flash him a cheesy grin.
Louis' heart sunk happily, "Oh, hi... gosh. Thought you were Harry..." he mumbled.
Liam nudged his shoulder, "don't call him that. You know he hates it! He'll fucking beat you to a goddamn pulp!"
"You're right... Hey, I'll see you under the tree at lunch, okay? I'm gonna head off."
"Okay," he replied with a huff, "you don't want walking to class?"
Louis shook his head in return

And that's when they departed.

Louis clutched onto the books he held to his chest. Most of his school books were kept in his locker, but he didn't trust anyone with his journal or art book, so you would see him holding those almost everywhere he walked at school. Suddenly, his eyes locked with a tall boy dressed in a busy shirt that was only half buttoned up, tight skinny jeans with rips trailing over them, and wrapped in a black leather jacket.

"Oh, look who's staring, Styles! Tommo the twink!" Zayn patted Harry's arm and laughed.
Harry glanced down at him and shot him a menacing 'don't touch me' look to which Zayn cowered in return. Harry strolled down the hall with his football clique and let his shoulder meet with Louis.
Harry smirked, "trying to hit on me again?"
Louis shook his head and stared at the ground, trying to walk off to only be pulled back by Harry. He stared at his small features for a while before pushing him down and standing on his hand.
"Don't ever try to fucking walk away from me again, Lewis," he scoffed then spat on his shirt. They all walked off in snickers as Louis trembled and picked his books up. After he was back on his feet, he held his hand gently, wincing every time he attempted to move some fingers. Surely something was broken, but that wasn't his biggest worry right now.
"I guess it wasn't too bad this time..." he muttered to himself, sighing as he continued off to class.
