Everything Changes.

Lily

I was moved into foster care when I was 15. Along with protective services because my family was apart of something I never knew of. Till I came home one day only to see my parents shot to death.  Nothing in my life has been sure.

Right now I live with my foster family in Phoenix. The people are great but I can never get to close to anyone. Im 17 and have never had a boyfriend or any real girl friends. Life is hard when you have gone through what I went through. I wake up every night in tears. Every night I relive that moment. Seeing my parents lifeless bodies on the floor with blood all over the floor.

My foster patents are very supportive and helpful. Elise is my foster mom and Jared is my foster dad. They have one child and her name is Krissy. She gets annoyed pretty easy but she helps a lot to.

Every day I wonder why I was kept in the dark. I'm also grateful that I was because I wouldn't be here today if I wasn't. Me and my real patents were never really close. I live my life here but I know not to make anything permanent.

Right now I am currently in English class trying to stay awake. No one except my family knows my secret. I'm not aloud to tell anyone about my real life or it could put them in danger.

All a sudden my shoulder was trapped and the boy sitting next to me smiled. I pulled my earphones or and smiled back. "Looks like we are partners for the project." He filed me in on everything I missed while dozing off. The bell rang just as he finished. "I'm Jake by the way." I smirked and took his outstretched hand.

"I'm Lily. Its nice to meet you. So here is my number and you can text me to discuss when you can meet up. I'm basically always free so whenever is good." Jake smiled. "Alright. See you around Lily. It was nice meeting you."

With that he walked off to a group of guys and he looked back giving me one last smile and a wave.
